There’s not one, but two lunchtime kick-offs in the Premier League today, and the Dugout Discussion chatroom is open and ready for a full day of football. We start at Villa Park in a matter of minutes, whilst the game at the DW Stadium is set to go at half past.

Once the dust has settled from Adel Taarabt announcing himself to the Premier League and Darren Bent scoring the first hattrick of the season, we have a somewhat meagre offering of just three 3 p.m. fixtures…

Blackburn and Everton do battle at Ewood Park, each side desperate for their first league point of the campaign. Swansea host Sunderland, who will both fancy their chances of earning a first win of the season. And then there’s Fernando Torres, with his belligerent of fantasy owners, all praying he finally nets today at home to the Canaries.

Finally, we’ll be off to Torres’ old stomping ground Anfield, where Liverpool and Bolton meet in today’s evening game.

Is it really important to build up squad value early on or is it more important to put in who you think will score more points?

I have Baines and might put in Bosingwa but only for his price rise so i don't have to pay may in a few weeks. I was going to get out Baines after Gameweek 6 and put in Bosingwa in then but Bosingwa will obviously rise a lot before then. I think Baines will score more points before Gameweek 6 but is it worth putting in Bosingwa in now to save money?
