It’s the third Saturday of the season and, unless you’re on wildcard number three, the subtle tinkering that separates the wheat from the chaff finally takes over. You’re not completely on your own however, as The Saturday Surgery opens it’s doors for another session.

All the resources you need to make your decisions as informed as possible are at your fingertips. The weekend Team News is bang up-to-date, the Scout Picks have been selected (and let’s face, they’re almost guaranteed to do better than the first two efforts) and the Injuries and Bans table is there as a sanity check to avoid those daft last-minute punts on crocked players (I’ve been there).

For me, I’ll be making the subtlest of changes… zero transfers, same captain. So I’m off to pop the kettle on, and when I get back I’ll heading over to the The Saturday Surgery to smugly take pleasure as others scramble around for inspiration. Enjoy.

              I was tempted to switch to Bosingwa from Torres, it just feels right, didn't do it though.
              I think you'll do ok and potentially have a stormer. I captained G Johnson couple of years ago when he scored a goal and an assist with clean sheet and 3 bonus. Was a nice feeling that still hasn't been forgotten. Good luck.
