Manchester United have just joined Edin Dzeko in turning Gameweek three upside down.

In 90 minutes of football, United simply blitzed a bewildered Arsenal, ravaged by injury and suspension, ill-equipped and unprepared for the waves of United attacks and individual brilliance thrown at them.

For Fantasy owners of Wayne Rooney and Ashley Young, United’s 8-2 win has brought a rare bounty of points that will have transformed their Gameweek scoring. Three goals and an assist from Rooney, a brace and and three assists from Young, the returns are beyond our wildest expectations and the stuff of nightmares for Arsenal fans and their beleaguered manager who could only watch on while their inexperienced and shell-shocked side were dismantled. Those Fantasy managers without the United pair are unlikely to feel much better – mini-leagues have been turned on their head by today’s events.

This afternoon will have a major impact on the Fantasy Premier League game with Young and Rooney now inevitably set to enjoy huge investment during the international break. Prices will rise, Wildcards will flutter – an extraordinary end to our Fantasy Gameweek.

    suarez/aguero/graham

    I have a few strong players that will rise in price, but too many weak ones (baines, senderos, etc) that I'm sure will drop over these 2 weeks. i know i need to get rooney in, as well as nasri

      Yea I know I am mad but just took lamps out for nasri. Lamps served me well for 2 games but too much money on 1 player. Still got 1 more free transfer so will wait to use that too.

            All im saying is be really careful. I kneejerked and pulled Torres out for Bent. I gained nothing by doing that, and I'm wondering whether Bent is a good shout at all. Two weeks is a long time in football mate! Says me with a pretty bang on average score. Soooo annoyed ha!!!!

      Nope, his positioning was awful for the Nani goal and the 2nd free kick. Suppose that's what happens when you've got that backline in front of you and have no confidence in it
