Manchester United have just joined Edin Dzeko in turning Gameweek three upside down.

In 90 minutes of football, United simply blitzed a bewildered Arsenal, ravaged by injury and suspension, ill-equipped and unprepared for the waves of United attacks and individual brilliance thrown at them.

For Fantasy owners of Wayne Rooney and Ashley Young, United’s 8-2 win has brought a rare bounty of points that will have transformed their Gameweek scoring. Three goals and an assist from Rooney, a brace and and three assists from Young, the returns are beyond our wildest expectations and the stuff of nightmares for Arsenal fans and their beleaguered manager who could only watch on while their inexperienced and shell-shocked side were dismantled. Those Fantasy managers without the United pair are unlikely to feel much better – mini-leagues have been turned on their head by today’s events.

This afternoon will have a major impact on the Fantasy Premier League game with Young and Rooney now inevitably set to enjoy huge investment during the international break. Prices will rise, Wildcards will flutter – an extraordinary end to our Fantasy Gameweek.

Mark Mark created the beast. He's now looking to tame it.

      That made me laugh 😀 . I've been there at least 3 times over the years. It's never that bad. Just weigh your options and trust your choices and don't make transfers before the international break. Good luck!

      long + lampard seem to be going backwards. Long is decent but with odemwingie back in business sooner rather than later his points will diminish

      lampard is too expensive and not worth the money.

      if he offers decent money for jagielka and even baines and he can get them. Everton are desperate for cash and WILL sell.

      Samba would jump at the opportunity of turning around the arsenal defence and get away from relegation threatened blackburn.

      Cahill is entering the last year of his contract, Bolton will have to sell or basically let Cahill's contract run down and go for free

      I don't think arsenal are in a desperate position

        would moyes let them go when he himself would then be in a position of not having enough time to find replacements. Not so sure . I think it is a bad state of affairs. We should know in 3 days time.

      He didn't have soo much time though. Everything depended on the Fabregas/Nasri outcomes. Unfortunately for us, they have only just been sold, partly our fault on Nasri but regarding Cesc, that was allll Barcelona. Kunts.

        Arsenal & Wenger have always said that there was money there for transfers, surely he didn't need those sales to go through before he could spend unless you know any different. I thought they were supposed to be in a very good financial position ??

      Leaves a couple of mil in the bank for silva to Young or Nasri, depending on how I feel after the break...or even Sess to Young if someone picks up 0.1 or so in value.

      I'm not going to wildcard and aware Dzeko going up in price in the next 10 hours.

      Got 2 frees but not sure whether to leave them for 2 weeks time or just get them done now. Would be Baines to £4.5m def and Graham to Dzeko.

      Do I do it now and hope Dzeko stays fit over the Internationals or leave it and maybe have to settle for a £4m defender instead? (not much diff between £4m and £4.5m def so not too bothered about that)

      Crikey... (or jinkies even...)... I get the Dzeko love, but Bosnia have two internationals on the 2nd and 6th of Sept against Belarus (who are edging them right now for a playoff place in the Euros). Bosnia really need 4 points from those games and Dzeko should be key, right? Then City play "the mighty Wigan" on the 10th (no offence Wigan fans)... will City really leave Aguero, Tevez, Balotelli on the bench and play Dzeko... when the argentinian contingent should be fresh? If Mancini doesn't play Tevez on the 10th, he'll never play him surely?
