Manchester United have just joined Edin Dzeko in turning Gameweek three upside down.

In 90 minutes of football, United simply blitzed a bewildered Arsenal, ravaged by injury and suspension, ill-equipped and unprepared for the waves of United attacks and individual brilliance thrown at them.

For Fantasy owners of Wayne Rooney and Ashley Young, United’s 8-2 win has brought a rare bounty of points that will have transformed their Gameweek scoring. Three goals and an assist from Rooney, a brace and and three assists from Young, the returns are beyond our wildest expectations and the stuff of nightmares for Arsenal fans and their beleaguered manager who could only watch on while their inexperienced and shell-shocked side were dismantled. Those Fantasy managers without the United pair are unlikely to feel much better – mini-leagues have been turned on their head by today’s events.

This afternoon will have a major impact on the Fantasy Premier League game with Young and Rooney now inevitably set to enjoy huge investment during the international break. Prices will rise, Wildcards will flutter – an extraordinary end to our Fantasy Gameweek.

Mark Mark created the beast. He's now looking to tame it.

Do City really have a better squad?

Full-strength Barca has Mascherano, Fabregas, Thiago, Affelay, Sanchez, Keita not even in the team. I wouldn't say City's squad is too much better than United's even.

city have 3 quality strikers in aguero, dzeko and tevez. along with nasri and silva as attacking mids/kind of forwards depending on formation I guess you could say. barca have messi, villa, pedro, affelay, and alexis sanchez as strikers! along with playmakers/attacking mids of xavi, iniesta, thiago, and fabregas

so i'd say the argument of city having a lot of strikers/strong attacking players goes against you

I don't get the hype over City's squad. Yes they are playing brilliantly but it's the same as last year plus Nasri and Aguero. Nobody was saying this stuff last year. Barca have added Sanchez and Fabregas to theirs. There are weaknesses in defence (Clichy, Lescott, Richards and Toure can be targeted). Beyond Johnson (under-rated) the midfield cover is Milner, SWP etc.

you could point to the fact that dzeko wasn't in form and silva wasn't playing quite as well either. and now they are playing more attacking football which allows their talent to shine more

i'd say yes just to strengthen up the midfield a bit and maybe swap out long? I guess it depends how many free transfers you have left and how many changes you are looking at making

yup same here. I've gone with a completely different approach this time. Loading up on City and United. Away at tottenham and City score 5. Home to Arsenal United score 8. What are they going to start doing to the shittier teams??

rooney scored 2 free kicks and a penalty just remember that wont all the time and as a aresult of that a.young wouldnt get 2 EASY assists and they played a poor arsenal, but i was impressed with city especially dzeko

      LW in 4-3-3
LCAM in 4-1-3-2 (played in last match)

Although there is a rotation risk, I think he will start most games.

I wouldn't bother wasting the transfer. I would expect very similar returns from either player. This may change if one is rested for the CL though

Good question, but answer is totally dependent on whether a left back comes in. From what I gather Santon is happier at RB, so if we do sign another left back (possibly Pieters or Cissokho though both are looking increasingly unlikely) then Simpson is at risk.
If we don't then Raylor is most at risk, though I'd be a little suprised if Santon went straight into the first XI.
Might be introduced gradually, he's young and might take him a bit of time to adjust to the Premiership.
