In this latest article for Members we combine the current ownership data in the Fantasy Premier League (FPL) game and our very own ICT Index* data, to find a collection of ten players who could provide handy differentials over the weeks to come.

With the emphasis on value in the current Fantasy landscape – we particularly targeted budget players who could plug the gaps in your squad – with just one notable exception from Villas-Boas’ Kings Road fraternity.

*For those of you unfamiliar with the ICT Index, click this link for more info…

Mark Mark created the beast. He's now looking to tame it.

Hutton's far better going forward though. If I needed a Villa defender he'd be the one.

not really..even the bigger teams tend not to rotate until their schedule picks up around Spring time..but the likes of United could rotate heavily this year, mainly because their squad is so bloody good.

Same with Citeh too, you have to give Tevez, Dzeko, Aguero, Balololololotelli etc enough playing time to keep them sharp and happy.

not sure it's that simple, giving them minutes to keep them happy. otherwise you'd predict berbatov to get some starts soon for example. football seems to be far too ruthless to worry about things like this at the elite level

Berbatov is very different in temperament to Tevez or Balololololololololololololololololololololololololololotelli though

            I take the general point.

don't really know what to think. guess it depends on the manager.
also think it's one thing giving players games in the FA cup, carling cup and europa league, it's another matter rotating in the league and champions league.

Yep, once the champions league starts up next week.

Mancini changed his team an awful lot for the Europa last season. I seem to remember for the first quarter of the season he had Milner and Johnson playing the flanks for league matches and Silva coming in for 20 minutes here and there, while Silva seemed to start all the first few euro matches.
Then again, players like Tevez played league and europe.

Doubt it'll happen much with Arsenal since they have so few options to choose from right now.

It's time for some DILEMMA DELUXE!

Here we go ladies and gentleman:

Hunt, O'Hara, Brunt, Barton, Sinclair or Cabaye?
    Brown or Ward?
    Walcott or Mata?
    Taarabt, SWP or Sessegnon?

Bonus, my personal dilemma: Walcott + Barkley + Brown + Ferguson, or Kompany + Dyer + 2 of the 6 mil. midfielders mentionend above.

      1) Depends on how risky you like it. Personally *biased alert* I'd say Cabaye
      2) Depends on your other defenders in terms of rotation. Probably Brown for me.
      3) Mata long term
      4) None.

Cant be arsed with the bonus dilemma, soz. 🙂

    1: Lampard and Taraabt
    or
    2: Cahill and Walcott

Currently have Lamps and Cahill but need to downgrade one in order to get RvP.
Obviously Cahill's popularity is low at the moment but his next two fixtures are delightful and he'll be playing up front.
Lamps is Lamps and always burns me when I sell him.
Both Taraabt and Theo could have great weeks.

WCed after Sunday's games. Now getting to the stage where I have to think about finalising my squad prior to GW deadline.

But I'm seriously considering a punt on Joey Barton. My one conundrum is will he:

    A) Put in a professional and disciplined performance against his former club, making an assist and scoring the winning goal (refusing to celebrate) in a 3-2 thriller. And at the end of the match, run the length of the pitch to salute The Toon Army, as they will salute him, whilst he mouths "I never wanted to leave."

    Or

    B) Put in a crunching tackle in front of the dug-out after 10mins, than the Ref deems fair, but Pardew berrates him for. The red mist descends. Joey decapitates Pardew with a Cantonaesque Kung Fu kick, before attempting an Agassi-style climb through the fans to the Director's box, wild-eyed and foaming at the mouth screaming: "Ashley! I want to cut out your heart and eat it!" Fortunately, Joey is apprehended by six burly stewards in advance and then carried off in a straight-jacket.

    A or B? It's a tricky one isn't it?

Hmm looking to get an Arsenal mid in the next week or 2. Won't be able to afford more than Arteta but can't help but feel Ramsey's far better value at 1.6m less. Even Benayoun would be a shout if he starts.

I rate all 3 quite highly but in FF terms it's impossible to choose.

Holt. Because he is playing West Brom at home, and will be high on confidence after the goal at Chelsea. And I like Norwich. And I have Holt.

Applebonkers, interesting tid-bit re. rotation. Fergie said the other day he won't need to start rotating until December. Said he'll stick with the current form team and the rest of the squad will have to be patient.
If only mancini felt the same ay

ouch. welbeck's injury could have come at an awful time then, unless hernandez was always going to come straight back in

He's apparently returning to light training already... will be interesting to see who Fergie picks when both 100% fit. Hernandez will get more goals but Welbeck suits the new formation better.

Yeah true. Makes the likes of Anderson & cleverley seem more viable options. Though the fixture list says no.

How about this for a meaningful discussion. I have seen very little interest in peter Crouch on Scout and find that a bit suprising considering his scoring rate and the playing style of his new club. At present I have Rooney, Suarez and Dzeko (as do many). I am thinking of bringing in Crouch in place of Dzeko and benefit from an extra 1.8 million to upgrade elseware. What do you think and why?

Crouch is a striker. Strikers job is to score goals. Crouch does not score goals. I'm glad we sold him.

Hi, I'm playing the telegraph game with only 30 transfers across the season. Which of these combinations for the next 6-10 games sounds the best? Or any other must have players advice gratefully received.

    A) Bosingwa, N'Zogbia, Rooney

    or
    B) Terry, Downing, Dzeko

The rest of my team is likely to be Givan, Riise, M. Richards, Lampard, Jarvis, SWP, RVP, Suarez

So the ultimate argument do you go RVP or Rooney or weaken your mid to bring both in. Although I do like Suarez on my team.

I have both, but I'm happy with my midfield. Have Silva, Anderson, Jarvis, Cabaye and Larsson. I think it will do well enough and I have such potential in my front 3. Only 4 of those will play every week, maybe 3 if my defenders coincidentally have good games - though they shouldn't as they were selected to rotate.

after a shocking start i've climbed my way up to 1millionth.
and i thought my buys were sensible.
have wild carded bought potential big guns -

Young Silva Nasri Suarez Dzeko Rooney

    - watched their price rise - and considering that this is a crazy season and i want the in-form big hitters in my team.
