Hallelujah – it’s business as usual in the Premier League. More to the point, it’s deadline day for fantasy football, and the Matchday Surgery chatroom is here to see you through it.

If you’ve left it late to make your transfers, or are just toying with final Fantasy Premier League wildcard adjustments, then one final sanity check is an absolute must. Come in and your comrades will attempt to deter you from any last-minute howlers (insert standard disclaimer).

Besides from the player market, there’s also the matter of selecting your double-scoring captain. With monster individual scores still burning in the memory, it’s a decision that cannot be taken lightly. A glance over at our poll sees Robin van Persie leading the way over two of those players with exceptional recent tallies in Wayne Rooney and Edin Dzeko.

May gameweek four treat us (especially me) well.

Akers Richard or Akers, as he is known, has been regularly haunting this site since July 2008. He is young and foolish, take what he says with a pinch of salt. Follow them on Twitter

Tevez and Aguero are very similar players. Dzeko should play, but if he doesnt, then it will be balotelli at CF. The Choices here are Tevez/Dzeko, Tevez/Balotelli, Aguero Dzeko, Aguero/Balotelli, or Tevez/Aguero/Dzeko or Tevez/Aguero/Balotelli. At the end of the day, Tevez is pretty much guaranteed a place this week, so if you think that Balotelli has no shot of playing, then it will be dzeko.

Man city has many great playmakers feeding balls, so it will always be either dzeko or balotelli in lineup up front.

If anyone is looking for a bet later.

Rapid Bucuresti v FC Brasov. Saturday, 10th September 2011, 15:00.

Rapid Bucuresti have started the season well and have been impressive at home winning both games 2 and 3 nil. Rapid have won the last 5 meetings at home against Brasov. Brasov are terrible in front of goal and they bought poorly in the transfer market, they got in a few low league Portuguese players. Brasov's only decent midfielder Chipchiu is a doubt and if he doesn't play it could get very bad for Brasov.

Rapid Bucuresti to win -1 European handicap @ 6/4

the players i would be unsure about are mertesacker, tarrabt and moses

personally, i have gone for newcastles Cabaye over taarabt as he is cheaper, has (almost) the most shots on target and looks set to assist - maybe score

as for mertesacker, if you save 0.5 mil in midfield, go for andre santos, arsenal's new attacking left back.

i am thinking moses will be on your bench?? Hope this helped 🙂
