United. Chelsea. City. Arsenal. Spurs. Liverpool. Everton.

Last season’s top seven have all already played and soaked up most of the action for Fantasy Managers. However we’ve still got games and we’ve still got Fantasy points on the line this afternoon. We start off by opening the Dugout Discussion for Norwich vs. West Brom…

The visiting side are able to partner up Shane Long and Peter Odemwingie for the first time while captain Chris Brunt and James Morrison drop to the bench with Graham Dorrans and Jerome Thomas coming in. The home side meanwhile continue with the regular bouts of rotation as the likes of Andrew Surman and Elliott Bennett return and Wes Hoolahan has to make do with a place on the bench. Teams in full are…

Norwich XI: Rudd, Naughton, Barnett, De Laet, Tierney, Bennett, Crofts, Bradley Johnson, Surman, Holt, Chris Martin

West Brom XI: Foster; Reid, Tamas, Olsson, Shorey; Dorrans, Scharner, Mulumbu, Thomas; Long, Odemwingie.

Sunday Premier League football will then close out with Fulham playing host to Blackburn as both sides look to fight their way out of the early relegation spots.

The Dugout Discussion will be here for both of these fixtures.

TBF Norwich is worse than Man City for rotation. We saw that against Stoke.

Brunt, however, has always provide a bona fide guarantee of playing. Hodgson is less of a fan than Matteo it seems. I also read that Hodg tends to deploy him deeper and in comparison with his scores under Di Matteo, he hasn't provided the same level of returns.

    Expect an Anderson rise.

I got him in based on so much "so called advice" on here. West Brom fixtures seemed to encourage the fact. Oh hmmm back to the drawing board. Thanks Hodgson.

Proof that asking for advice is the same as asking for an accomplice. Dont worry about the "so called advice", your other choice would have probably been worse.

Brunt looked a 6M bargain relative to FPL. It was a logical pick all things concerned. I am sure he's still on pens even when Odem is playing...

          Won't knee jerk him out.

It's thin pickings isn't it? Barkley rotated yesterday.

I am actually happyish that I'm still stuck with Moses and Dyer as they're your best bet at that range. You won't rue leaving them to stew on your bench because they'll just pick up the obligatory 2,3 points.

I had him last year and he was worth the money. This year I think is too expensive and due to age and fitness, will be subject to more rotation and will be coming off the bench. Injury prone. Better options at that price in my opinion, even brunt at 6.0 is better if you need West Brom coverage, even though he is out this game.

With the exception of N Taylor (4m and Swansea have CS potential) agree that all of those are bad picks. Clichy will get rotated and Kompany is the same price or .1 more and is nailed on.

Enrique(I like, but more for future)
      Clichy(rotation worries)
      Jones(Rotation worries)
      R. Taylor(Will lose spot to Santon)
Ramsey(Waste of space, will play deeper and rotation)
      Nasri(good choice)
Nani(too early, but not bad considering price went down and may go up again)
      Reo-Coker(waste)
      Ferguson(Doesnt play)
Aguero(like him, but Man City strikers will be hard to predict, although hes likely to get most playing time)
Suarez(not yet, sched gets better week 9 and maybee if he draws one more blank price will decline)
Rooney(If need to neutralize, get him in, otherwise his fixtures are still bad - fixture proof until now, but will it continue)
You have some risks, and if really want to take them, you need better bargain players to complement or coming off the bench.

I see your point, was wondering if he may be one of the semi-"fixture proof" performers in the sub 9 mill range.

I am tempted to sit that one out and take my chances with what I have got.

Sturridge and Rooney are my other 2 strikers although there will be some serious conflicts about that pairing for next sun!

I've got a decent team but I have yet to master a balance between fixture rotation and a decent team.

Nice to see Dorrans finally getting a start. I thought he was one of their best players towards the end of last season.

If rudd gets injured and an outfield player already on the pitch goes in goal and doesn't concede, would he get the cs?

Purely depends on their position if FPL. Will get save points tho.

Makes sense, I was thinking holt looks like he could do a job in goal, under the 'stick the fatty in nets' principle.

Calm that knee, son. You'll do your team damage.

Newcastle play tomorrow at least give Cabaye a game.

If you're going for a Wolves player then O Hara is your best bet MF and under the radar. Lacks bonus, though

Any reason not to do this ?

A Cole -> Kompany (this week)
    Senderos -> Bosingwa (next week).

we don't know about Senderos, yet.

as someone who owns two Chels DF (thankfully one is Bos, the other Cole), they have been an FPL nightmare. Utd away next too.

Though Swans at home after that.

Nasri will play next weekend and when he plays silva won't get many assists. Nasri has goal threat as well.

Nasri vs Silva is the one where I'd choose Silva just because of the greater likelihood of starts. That said, perhaps Nasri was on the bench yesterday just as a precaution for his light injury. Decisions, decisions...

Not getting at you but I really dont like it. Far too many cheap players.
In 2 weeks time (after probably taking 2 4 point hits), I plan to have -

      Vorm, Ruddy,
      Kompany, Bosingwa, Brown, Simpson, Warnock
      Mata, Nasri, O'Hara, Moses, Sinclair,
      Rooney, Dzeko, Suarez

Its different but i think Baines is excellent value. Basically a left winger now Arteta is gone with the pens for sure

added to that despite Arsenal being dire yesterday Walcott could easily have got 2. He played alot centrally at times when Sagna pushed on.

I dont think your 3 cheap mids or brown are good. Suarez has very tough fixtures

No me neither. I'm keeping Sinclair though as Swansea still have good fixtures (barring the Chelsea game).

O'Hara has gotta go eventually but I just keep finding other priorities and hes holding his value reasonably well...

Moses well.. no plans to get rid of him as hes probably the best value 5.0 player. He will play whenever O'Hara/Sincalir have shite fixtures.
