United. Chelsea. City. Arsenal. Spurs. Liverpool. Everton.

Last season’s top seven have all already played and soaked up most of the action for Fantasy Managers. However we’ve still got games and we’ve still got Fantasy points on the line this afternoon. We start off by opening the Dugout Discussion for Norwich vs. West Brom…

The visiting side are able to partner up Shane Long and Peter Odemwingie for the first time while captain Chris Brunt and James Morrison drop to the bench with Graham Dorrans and Jerome Thomas coming in. The home side meanwhile continue with the regular bouts of rotation as the likes of Andrew Surman and Elliott Bennett return and Wes Hoolahan has to make do with a place on the bench. Teams in full are…

Norwich XI: Rudd, Naughton, Barnett, De Laet, Tierney, Bennett, Crofts, Bradley Johnson, Surman, Holt, Chris Martin

West Brom XI: Foster; Reid, Tamas, Olsson, Shorey; Dorrans, Scharner, Mulumbu, Thomas; Long, Odemwingie.

Sunday Premier League football will then close out with Fulham playing host to Blackburn as both sides look to fight their way out of the early relegation spots.

The Dugout Discussion will be here for both of these fixtures.

If a player is transferred to another team in the Barclays Premier League, and this transfer takes you over the 3 players per team limit, then you will need to go back under the limit when making your next transfers.

John joined Major League Soccer club Chicago Fire during their pre-season training camp on 29 January 2010 with a view to signing before the start of the 2010 MLS season.[10] On 11 March 2010 The Chicago Fire hired the Dutch and former Fulham forward on a free transfer. After a disappointing season in MLS, in which he was benched for a poor attitude in training, John was released by Chicago on November 24, 2010.

John joined Gabala FC in Azerbaijan on 25 January 2011.

After failing to revive his career in Azerbaijan, Collins John handed in a transfer request. John is currently on trial with Nottingham Forest F.C. and has flown to Portugal with them for a pre-season break.

        did forest take him on?????

And with Brunt's six minutes so ends a dreadful weak for me. Must remember to captain Rooney everyweek. At least I broke the 40 pt mark (the benchmark of total crapness) with certain bps for Rooney and Baines to come.

One more week for RVP to prove himself...if he can't score home or aware against terrible sides then there's no hope.

Suarez ICT stats too good to drop him at the mo.

End of stream of conciousness...off to cook a roast for the family and listen to the new Stephen Malkmus album.

talk sport were speculating that brunt was rested because he is historically pants first game back after an international. My bad for not looking into that. He's captain and should be back next week on the left, with Odem back I have confidence. Just tough this week for us Brunt owners.

its a marathon not a sprint, or should that be its a snickers not a sprint.

The key to success is not now when Rooney scores 15 plus each week which anyone can see, it is when Rooney is injured, it is double guessing Mancini on a regular basis and above all it is captaining Dempsey in a double game week.

I didn't think so, but the more I see it the more I think maybe he will. It seems by the letter of the law he should get it, but dare I say his ownership is too low for them to be forced into changing it.

It would be showing inconsistency with the ruling. Rooney got his so in theory Walcott should get his because as you say the letter of the law dictates it should be an assist.

"Assists are awarded to the player from the goal scoring team, who makes the last touch before the goal is scored.

If after this touch, an opposing player touches the ball outside the penalty area altering the intended destination of the ball, then no assist is given, except if this intervention directly results in an own goal."

Watch the video. Theo assist would be a guarantee, assuming FPL was not terminally-fooked.
