The visiting side are able to partner up Shane Long and Peter Odemwingie for the first time while captain Chris Brunt and James Morrison drop to the bench with Graham Dorrans and Jerome Thomas coming in. The home side meanwhile continue with the regular bouts of rotation as the likes of Andrew Surman and Elliott Bennett return and Wes Hoolahan has to make do with a place on the bench. Sunday Premier League football will then close out with Fulham playing host to Blackburn as both sides look to fight their way out of the early relegation spots.

    Ruiz is not a striker that's why he not playing up top

    Traditionally a winger he is playing ahead of the 4 in midfield and behind Zamora up top

    If he was listed as a winger on fpl he would be good value

    He looks like a certain starter and a key player for jol hence him giving Ruiz his debut today

    Is it a bad idea having Nasri + Silva? Tempted to downgrade one of them to Arteta and upgrade a 4.0 def to Phil Jones or Kompany.

    Any thoughts...?

      pretty good, although I like Suarez over Dzeko.

      And will RTaylor be affected by recent signings? I can't keep it straight, as I don't care (don't own Toon) - but you might want to investigate that.

        That's the team I've wild carded to. Had too many players not playing or under performing. I've only picked R Taylor because was struggling to fit Young in and Newcastle have nice fixtures. I couldn't afford S Taylor. Might swap Nasri to Arteta and Dzeko to Suarez since City's rotation gives me a headache.

    Why do we all play this game knowing it's a big frustration most of the time (even a top 1K finish makes you complain about your players/choices week in week out)?

      Many sports = big frustration [think Golf] ... that's what makes them intriguing to play.

      No frustration = easy game = boring.

      But, fwiw, I'm not frustrated most of the time. And most complaints are for/from noobs.

    Is Clichy nailed on as City's starting LB? I only ask because Mancini seems to want to rotate everyone, and by doubling up on City's defence with him and Kompany (I also have Silva), I save myself from picking potential land-mines like Nasri, Dzeko, Tevez and Aguero! Think City's defence is the way to go.

      Tripling up on any team isn't a great idea I think. Let's say Aguero starts banging them in every game then you would need to do 2 transfers to get him in.

      Kompany and Silva is more than enough.
