The only thing I can think of doing with that freebie is De Laet-> Woodgate/Naylor.But which one?I know that Woodgate is the obvious choice,but looking at Swansea's defensive record and the fact that I don't have Vorm,I really want Naylor.Or does anyone think I should save the transfer and deal with De Laet later?

I'm so stumped this week. Want to slowly raise cash to have expensive Mids & Fwds, so thinking of selling Baines. But article convinces me otherwise.
If I did Baines > Enrique that would still leave me 1.0m short for Long > RVP
Other players that are benchfodder at moment are: Moses, De Laet, Dyer & Orr none of whom are going to make me that extra Mill.
Might wait a week to have 2 transfers and hope one of the expensive players gets a long term injury
I'd definitely sell Baines - Baines has good stats from a relatively easy start to the season - next 4 games are che, ful, MUN, new.
Nothing much from his last two against good sides and four more to go, get rid before he goes down again and bring him back in four or five weeks for less money, and bank all the extra points you make.
Huh?????? If you do baines for Enrique that will give you plenty to get Long for RVP as you currently have 4.9M in the bank. You can afford a striker worth over 13M....
I would suggest move out baines as he has done nothing much to warrant his price and his fix arent to good soon. Then do Long for Sturridge/Agb/Ade and use the left over funds to upgrade Moses or Dyer.
Pick up Baines maybe during DW or later when fix are better or when team hits some form...

I've go both Rooney and Young and I am considering getting rid of both. 3 difficult fixtures and Young has done sod all in the last few weeks.
What is your reasoning for having either?
Young is v likel to be on assists for rooney - or anyone else. As prem's most fouled player it stands to reason he might pick up some assists just for falling over.
and united will destroy city.

have a look at the stats for Man Utd and Liverpool clashes at Anfield over the last three seasons and you may think twice about this. They have won all three. Suarez ran them ragged last season's match there as well. The stats and facts say that Suarez will get a sniff at the united goal. What do you base your assertion on? 😉
Doesn't mean I think that will happen this year. Up to THAT 4-1 at OT a couple of seasons back United hadn't lost to Liverpool in 8 games.

Hate to be contrary but Arteta out for Ramsey is too much of a sideways move and fairly pointless. Ramsey plays higher up, but Arteta still has a chance of doing something. Also why keep Ageuro this week when he will not play. Suarez at home to Man Utd is perversely a good fixture for Liverpool. Depends what you paid for Aguero? But if you are not losing much I'd do Aguero to Suarez myself. Suarez is going to be gold over the next two weeks, plus he will go up in price tomorrow or Sat at the latest.

Id say keep Rooney and Ade, Get rid of young ive hot VDV but now that hes a doubt it may be a bad idea.

I've got decent subs to come in Dyer and Taylor both vs Norwich. And I think one or both may well play. No point using two weeks worth of transfers to take out one of them and bring back in, for the sake of probably 1 game. Is there?
Agreed, although I would personally transfer 1 of them and bench the other. I have Dyer but having watched a lot of the swans last year he wasn't much of a big hitter from a FF perspective.

As Scout report suggests Shawcross as captain most nailed on Stoke defender. Woodgate not in Euro squad presumably to keep a potentially fragile player for PL. I have Begovic and Woodgate as Stoke at home look good hopefully for whole season.

Interesting stats on defenders/goal threat, Sir P. Problem is, they score so infrequently that it becomes hard to predict when they will actually find the net.

its a good point. The key I guess is to pick one of say S Taylor, Cahill et al and stick with them when fixtures are good and dump when bad. Its a tricky one though.
i dont have the stats so i dont know. all i know is s taylor is for the season.

Man Utd have lost at anfield for the last three seasons. Their record overall at Anfield is shocking throughout the decades as well.
