I agree, even if Gerrard got 6 points with the point hit you could only really class it as 2. Just stick with the Sturridge transfer for this week.

just make sure the players u replace them with arent just chasing points for the next week or so, think longer term

I'm on 321 points so outside the top million. Last season finished in the top thousand. Easy to fall a long way behind if you didn't have Aguero and Rooney early on to captain. Still, moving up the last few games weeks and only have a couple of transfers left to do now to have a team I am really happy with.

It'll about how Everton went Jack, 9 behind the ball until Bannan and Delph knocked down by the waves of being taken on. Get down a goal, and Bent will start pouting, and soon after the wheels will come off with Agbon the only one taking on people (meaning Micah...unsuccessfully; see last years turnover rate for reference). I'm thinking it will look respectable for the first half until they either dump the working wing Barry or Balo does something to get benched and they knock on Johnson. But if Adam Johnson starts, and maybe push Nasri a bit more centrally it could get ugly for Villa, and could be a wonderful day to have Silva, Nasri or Johnson. Or even Richards. Villa won't see much of the ball.

Here's my issue, I have both Aguero and Adebayor and cant afford Ade to Suarez,
So how does Aguero to Suarez sound? with enough left to buy back when liverpools nice run stops.

I'm not sold on Sturridge, although he seems to have nailed down a spot he hasn't done much with it. I realise his price is attractive. If I had Aguero and Ade I'd keep both, they'll only be out a week, perhaps Ade will even play this week.

Have walked my mini league last 3 years and guys ahead of me this year have all just spend huge upfront and bought feck all else with no thought, with perhaps one exception. They wont maintain the scoring (I hope!) all year. Plus...its fun working to take down a lead..I dropped Rooney this week! haha

VDV is apparently "feeling" his hamstring. I predict maximum 65 mins. Maybe no start at all (depending on another hamstring -- Adebayor`s)

I don't recommend wildcarding with the intention of selling one player next week. All sorts of things could happen to block that transfer, so why not just have a full squad of players you're happy with for more than one week, and make next week's changes according to the situation next week.

Adebayor has been pretty much ruled out.
Aguero is apparently likely to be fit for the game, but possibly rested because of the Villarreal game in mid-week. I think he'll make the bench.
Mate top of my mini league is....he chose his team a week or so before deadline and didnt look at..then couldnt look on Fri night. Was moaning he had Aguero capt and he didnt know he wasnt starting..Ageuro came on and scored 2 and got an assist...he is hammering me,,,but I can tell myself its luck and class is permanent! haha

FISO seems more and more unreliable at the moment. I've mentioned this a few times but it says that it has a margin for error of approx 5%, last week with a couple of price changes it was off the mark by 20%!
I'm not hopeful on Ade to be honest. I think even if he's 50:50 'Arry will just leave him out and save him. No point in aggravating a hammy.
Saying that last season with VdV it was very much if the player felt good enough he played, even when it was 50-50. I'm hopeful he'll play and make it thru.

Spurs defenders I dont trust, always seem overpriced V players from Stoke and such teams so I reckon you are far better off with Woodgate. Dont worry too much about gabbidon if he's your 3d sub altho Tierney at Norwich looks good going fwd and will grab as many clean sheets as Gabbidon this season with a few assists thrown in.
Hutton is a possibility but not better than Bos, Enriq or Woods in my opinion.
Moses, rubbish so far, possibly worth a gamble for his fixtures and the thinking that he will do 'something' eventually. If you dont need him or Bannan in your first 11 this week then stick with Bannan cos he's in form and Villa ae actually improving game by game.
