Hiya guys, just got in and need to ask a few questions, sorry if they've already been asked.

I had planned to do Jones & VDV >> Vermaelen & Bale/Valencia, but now that Jones is OK and may be playing Monday, i'm left with just my VDV problem.

So would you do VDV>Valencia OR VDV> Bale? (i already have Nani in midfield - team linked)

My two leading rivals above me in my mini league have Bale, so maybe Valencia as a worthy differerential, really important decision to make this is.

help greatly appreciated.

  VDV > Bale sounds good. Norwich game suits Bale to go nuts! I want him in my team so bad but would have to take a hit and the one to go out would be Silva. I don't think it would be wise though.

I have 2 frees this week and £1m in bank.

Looking at doing Sinclair to Drenthe but this week may not necessarily be the best GW to do that move, no?

I also need to get rid of Bradley Johnson and am thinking of getting Moses in for him as my bench warmer.

So, should I just use this weeks free to get Moses in, and carry 2 over for next GW (when I can start getting in the remaining DGW players I want) or use both now and get Drenthe and Moses?

    Yeah, I'll only lose my free for this week if I don't use it so getting in Moses and sitting him on the bench isn't a waste anyway.
    
    Then I have 2 frees next gameweek and I can get Drenthe in then, if he's not injured again.

  Get Moses in for £0.2m more. Never rotated or subbed off early. At worst he'll give ye 2 points off your bench guaranteed.

  If the rest of your team is good enough that you can bench walters for a home match then your doing things properly! In that case, ignore everyones advice and gobwith your gut.

  a rerfresh of certain players who I put in to take advantage of fixtures (e.g Valencia) get a better second keeper than Westwood, sort out my defence, and take a punt on any signings that turn up in Jan (G. Cahill at Chelsea for example). That being said my punt on Dzeko last jan didn't work out too well.

Really undecided if I should take a 4 pt hit.

Vdv, naylor and jones all doubtful and having to play gower at midfield. Any more injuries or players rested could mean no subs for me so should I got ahead with my planned VDV>Valencia? How nailed on is Valencia vs Gibbs? Chaz Adams is also in consideration.

Thoughts please?

  You have Nani, and therefore dont really need Valencia, so just do VDV to Bale, think of the DGW coming up

Tempted by Wilkinson to Caulker/Shotton with my 1 FT this week, but it is basically a sideways move, though it avoids Wilko's drop and Caulker's rise.
I have 2.8 in the bank, and sort of want Rooney in at some point soon, but can't quite afford Ade to Rooney, and Ade's DGW outs me off that anyway, but I don't know how else I'd fit Rooney in unless I go for something like Ade & Ba to Rooney & Morison next week, but still double Gameweek coming up..

Basically, can anyone talk me out of Ade to Rooney, probably for a hit before Ade's DGW?

  I had RVP and Rooney but ditched Rooney a few weeks ago and got Nani instead. So far it appears to have worked well for me and allowed me to get Sturridge for Chelsea cover.
  
  Agree with JEvans over Jones. Unless Jones assists or scores then JEvans matches him points wise.
  
  Its all about getting value at the position, as the great Bill Belichick always says at draft time in the NFL.

Alright folks. 2 freebies to use and I am planning on revamping the defence. If I get rid of Baines and Barnett I have 11.9m to spend on two defenders.

Current thinking is Enrique and Evans however one of Jones or Vermalean is very tempting!

Any advice?
