Seven three o’clock kick-offs with Chelsea, United, Liverpool and Spurs all enjoying home comforts – the scene is set for a bonanza of Fantasy points. While such a scenario has a habit of smacking us round the chops, we’re remaining optimistic and have opened our Dugout Discussion chatroom ready to soak up your views as the points pour in.

It’s safe to say that the Old Trafford clash between United and Bolton will carry the biggest expectation amongst the Fantasy fraternity. Wayne Rooney and Nani will go into the game with armbands stacking up, while Tottenham’s attacking talent will again carry our hopes as they face up to Wolves at the Lane.

Good luck for the Gameweek, we’ll see you on the other side with the Knee Jerk.

Mark Mark created the beast. He's now looking to tame it.

The logic is quality fixtures and a new manager to rejuvenate them and a differential.

There's no certainty that he'll start. Also, from watching him play, I'm not filled with any amount of faith over his abilities.

Much rather go with the certainty of Fletcher.

Tempting fate as a Rooney captainer, but I think he'll keep both assists having just seen the goals.

Not saying he should, just that I think he probably will.

But we shall see I suppose.

Just rewatched the United goals. On first viewing I thought both were Rooney's assists and now I think neither were.

First one either bobbles off the ground or Wellbeck gets a touch, now I'm not sure on the fine details on what counts as an assist but it looks like he touches it and ever so slightly changes the path of the ball.

Second one Wheater touches it on although it may slightly touch Rooney aswell on the way through.

I'm not very optimistic about either tbh and its a bit gutting really.

Are you retarded? 'Second one Wheater touches it on although it may slightly touch Rooney aswell on the way through.' - so if it doesn't touch Rooney it's not his assist.

Please read FPL rules. If the ball is touched outside the box by the opposing team no assist is given.

Also I downloaded the flash video from 101goals of the Welbeck goal and played it back at 1/4 speed. The quality is not great but its defo Wheater that plays Welbeck in. Doesnt appear to touch Rooney

it does matter, its irrelevant inside the box not outside

ssists are awarded to the player from the goal scoring team, who makes the last touch before the goal is scored.

If after this touch, an opposing player touches the ball outside the penalty area altering the intended destination of the ball, then no assist is given, except if this intervention directly results in an own goal.

there is one angle for the scholes goal which is abundantly clear

its showing behind rooney as he crosses it

scholes calls welbeck to leave it, his leg goes towards then pulls out

he does not get a touch

    rooney assist

jog on you desperate gits ive had about 4 stinkers in a row

It defo skinned Welbecks foot on the way past but surely Rooney will get the assist anyway as he hit the pass

The last touch, however inconsequential, is what counts. I've seen the replays and it's very hard to call.

^ Nope. Any touch, ANY touch and it is Welbecks. Same as the Gervinho one a while back.

nope. That's not how the assist rule works. If Welbeck touched it (which, I think he did), then it's a Welbeck assist.

It's not 100% IMO... They should leave it as Rooney's

Wellbeck definitely got a touch mate. 100%. You can see a clear deflection.

So thanks yakubu. Is he out for 3 games now?
Should I wildcard or not? Got ade and the yak defo out, only 1 free transfer.
    Current team is-
    Vorm, ruddy

    Enrique, Richards, brown, Simpson, shotton

    Bale, vdv, nani, silva, dyer

    Ade, yak, rvp.
Help! Trouble is I wanted to leave my wc until the last possible moment to stop my opponent copying. He does have 2 wc’s though, so I guess he could either way.

Not necessarily, take a punt on Sess or Crouch at home next week

You're still left with 11 good players - some tough fixtures but It wouldnt surprise me if City V Spurs and Arsenal V United both finished 3-3

Yak is defo a 3 game ban - they wont even appeal that red card

37 with Krul and RVP to go, whats the average looking like this week then ? Seems like there may be some low scores so far today, glad I didnt take a hit this week.

I think he's got more chance of bouncing onto the bench. Young can't be far away from a return

Probably nani and nobody else. The smart money is on Valencia. Did anyone else have Lindegard and Evans in their team today? - I am blessed
