Our latest Monitor article for Members examines the progress of Antonio Valencia, a player who, over recent weeks, has emerged from the shadow of team-mate Nani to become a hugely popular Fantasy midfield option. With Wildcards in play and Nani struggling for returns, Valencia has been an established transfer target of late, attracting investment that triggered his first Fantasy Premier League (FPL) price rise this week.

We examine his progress over his recent spell of form, compare his raw statistics with those produced by Nani and place Valencia’s great strength – his ability to create chances – alongside the top performers over the last eight Gameweeks.

            I had Kolo and Drogba as sub, so not too bad. Also had Khalifa, Sudan defender who was heading for a CS until the last minute.

            I had the Kolo and Eboue, then Kolo and Sol who I kept. I felt the fear, but doubted my ability to pick a definite starter so stayed.

    FPL already has Cabaye as suspended, is this correct?

      The policy is to mark as suspended when a charge which results in immediate suspension is dished out, at least until an appeal is confirmed which could delay the suspension for the Gameweek that immediately follows. This has been applied with all previous charges this season - Alcaraz, N'Zonzi and Kompany.
