Just a final reminder that we launched the second free Fantasy Football Scout cup competition of the season this earlier this week. Gameweek 24 is the qualifying round for this Members-only tournament, with the top scoring 512 managers progressing to the first round proper.

There are prizes for the top three places in the Members Paddy Power Cup II, and you can enter via our form right here. You should receive email confirmation of your entry once submitted, but you can also check that your entry has been successful via this list. If you have any issues with your entry, please email me at akers@fantasyfootballscout.co.uk.

I only get 5.6 for Enrique and 4.6 for Vorm so quite reluctant to sell both.

  I sold Vorm (bought at 4,0) and got Mignolet two GWs ago. I'm playing Caulker in these GWs I would play Vorm, so I'd probably get similar returns with moving some cash into other areas.

Looking for advice on who to bench, currently at:
Krul
JEvans – Richards – Huth
Silva – Dempsey – Walters – Bale
Aguero – RVP – Ba

Subs: Mignolet / Sessegnon, Caulker, Kelly

My doubts:
1) I’m playing fixtures over form picking Walters instead of Sessegnon
2) I know Fulham have played quite well against TOP4 and Dempsey’s on form, but then again I’ll be stuck having 4 players in one game (diversification usually proves to be the key)
3) Ba’s form atm is a question mark.

Maybe I should stick to 5 in the midfield and bench Ba for now?

I said after my WC, to the end of the season i wont take a point hit, im planning to do the following this week:

Skrtel, Hangeland & Sturridge -> 2 from Huth/Vermaelen/Clichy/Kompany & Ba

Which can i sacrifice in order to not take a hit? Im guessing one of the defenders, i generally think hits for defenders are stupid.

  Well Sturridge to Ba obviously HAS to happen. Hangeland has the possibility of 4 easy clean sheets in the next 8 so I'd remove Skrtel. I guess Kompany would have to be the replacement despite the appeal of Huth. I'd forget about Vermaelen for the time being and definitely wouldn't consider Clichy ahead of Kompany.

Anyone have a sick feeling that this is going to be “one of those weeks” where RVP(c) will get almost as many points as the rest of your team. Surely the “Fab 5 midfielders” will be hard pressed to continue to produce 40+ points between them. I think this could be the week of the differential.

This is how much making a decision between Aguero and Dzeko will effect my team:

With Aguero: Al Habsi + Vorm, Simpson, A Ferdinand, Aguero, Zamora

With Dzeko: Krul + Vorm, Huth, Taiwo, Dzeko, Ba

Considering this, should I go Aguero or Dzeko?

        The Aguero option leaves me with no money in the bank. The Dzeko option leaves me with 0.7 in the bank which I'll probably use to upgrade one of my defenders if I choose that option

      I don't like Szeko to be honest. Aguero can play alone up front, and then in 2 weks time if ManC still aren't firing he'll be back on the bench for Baloteli. Have you considered just going with Silva?

        Not really considered it tbh. I think doubling up on City should lead to profit over the next 4 gameweeks. Honestly, I don't know if I have the balls to go with Dzeko. The point you've made is what's been stopping me. Game time will be an issue unless he explodes in his next 180 minutes of playing time.

  I went Dzeko. (WC last game week). My thinking is that it was a 3 week punt until Balotelli return from suspension. Now that Tevez is in the mix again, you will sure only get 2 weeks out of him as a starter.
  
  That said, i would still go Dzeko today knowing that it is just a 2 week punt, then look to swap him out in a few weeks and go "Agueroless".

    Yeah his game time is proving to be a massive stumbling block. But what if Aguero scores massively over the next 2 weeks and Dzeko does nothing despite playing? I'd have no easy way to get Kun into my team and would be in a completely helpless situation!

  I'm not so sure. The extra cash that Dzeko frees up could work wonders for your team. They've both only scored once in their last 6 so they're statistically even atm. The return of Balotelli will obviously dent Dzeko's appeal though

I've got 3.4 in the bank and two free transfers this week, so quite a bit to spend. Was thinking of using my two free transfers to do Huth and Fletcher OUT, Caulker and Aguero IN.

Any opinions on the above transfer would be much appreciated. Equally, feel free to post suggestions if you guys can see any better ways to use my double transfer this week. 🙂
