Members Paddy Power Cup II – Entry Still Open

Just a final reminder that we launched the second free Fantasy Football Scout cup competition of the season this earlier this week. Gameweek 24 is the qualifying round for this Members-only tournament, with the top scoring 512 managers progressing to the first round proper.

There are prizes for the top three places in the Members Paddy Power Cup II, and you can enter via our form right here. You should receive email confirmation of your entry once submitted, but you can also check that your entry has been successful via this list. If you have any issues with your entry, please email me at akers@fantasyfootballscout.co.uk.

Good luck to those who enter. We will post full details of the qualifiers once the gameweek ends on Tuesday, with the first round draw following later next week.

    My big dillemma this gameweek is whether to bench Cahill or Enrique. As said United grind out results and will probably play on the counter. Tottenham with Bale and Modric are in form and even if Pool line up with 5 midfielders I do not see Tottenham not getting a result. Any thoughts on which one to bench?

      With Defoe, VdV, Adebayor and Lennon all possibly out Liverpool have a reasonable chance of a cleanse, that said I think Spurs will score - score draw anyone?

      Either one of them will probably concede, Cahill possible better for attacking returns

        Thanks for reminding me why I brought Walters in. I had a harrowing few weeks with his penalty miss and lack of points last week while everyone else seemed to gorge on Sessegnon, Dempsey and Valenicia points. I felt like a right wally.

      Sounds like a good transfer IMO. I'd do it. I'd consider starting Adebayor as well but not really sure.

    I can't wait for Liverpool vs Spurs... I really think Spurs could properly do 'em in that game. It's fascinating to me as you'd normally put the two clubs in the same bracket, but I reckon Spurs will show how much they've progressed ahead of Liverpool.

      Liverpool are also in form with an Anfield unbeaten record to conserve, I see a score draw most likely.
      And Liverpool have Suarez and Gerrard available again, while Spurs are missing Lennon, possibly Defoe, Ade and VdV as well.

      On top of that Liverpool will have a recognised RB playing who will have a better chance of keeping Bale quiet than Skrtel did, without any red cards it should be an even game

      I think it'll depend on bale bigtime. Pool is pretty good in defense. If played at a high tempo, I back spurs to win..if not ill edge towards liverpool. Tottenham almost never draw these days.

      I did the first. Ade is in bad form and Ba is worth in the punt in my opinion. Worst that should happen is Ba makes a cameo and plays for a few minutes so you get a point, Ade on the other hand has played 432 minutes total in the last 5 games and got 2 points in each.

      BAE to Kompany seems a sensible option.

        Out of that lot, Evans for both, with Chelsea's lack of punch up front he has best CS prospects, unless Chelsea get another dodgy pen/fk. Suarez will have a point to prove I feel, and Kelly, just don;t go there. Caulker is my 3rd sub as I think WBA will score, but also I have Dempsey 1st and Evans 2nd.

          In that case Surman is a good option, Dyer and Sigurdsson are out of your price range, Surman is prone to rotation though.
          Him or Buzaky of QPR look the best options, depending how much game time Buzaky gets though he only missed last game with an injury, but new signings could get him dropped
