If I brought him in I'd have to play either him or Simpson in their tough games, Taiwo away at Blackburn could give attacking points

Why gamble on a someone whos done nothing and plays in a team that cant keep a clean sheet when you have a player who keeps clean sheets and has proven attacking threat?

    or

Really need to upgrade my defence

    Krul Mignolet
    Simpson Kelly Shotton McAuley BAE
    Silva Dempsey Bale Valencia Sess
    RVP Dzeko Ba

Just got in Ba for my FT this week before he rises, only got 0.6 in the bank. Dunno what to do but I need rid of Shotton unless he will play in place of Huth, and McCauley probably.

This week your defence is BAE and Kelly. You could do with another. You could do two things. Decide that Shotton is to irregular, and ship him, or see if you can squeeze another couple of appearances out of him because of the Huth debacle (keep track of any appeals of that red card). In the latter case, get rid of McAuley, who will neither get too many points.

Maybe Evans is the way to go?

Anyway. Don't take a hit to do any of this. Then you could see if McAuley can get a clean sheet at Wolves instead.

Great reply, cheers. I probably should have kept Fletcher for this week, but Wolves have been rubbish and I didnt wanna get priced out of Ba. Wish I could just play 2 at the back this week.

Reluctant to get Evans because I've hopped on the Evans bandwagon twice this season, only for him to get dropped or injured the same gameweek ha.

But yeh I'm not gonna do any more transfers this week, guy behind me has finally caught up after 23 gameweeks in the lead for me, he is one point behind with Bale and Enrique to play tomorrow; I only have Bale, so yeh I'll probably lose first tomorrow! ๐Ÿ™

Sounds good. This is the time to keep your cool.

Remember. 0 pts from a defender not playing, is better than -2 or -3 for a defender for a -4 point hit and no clean sheet.

not just yet, Valencia maybe in a week, as nani is on way back, Young is back, he's about to become more of a rotation risk, plus with Cleverely and Anderson on way back, Giggs could go wide, and then there is Park.

Fergie loves Valencia though and he's in excellent form. I don't see him being rotated much at all, especially with Young and Park probably playing the Europa League games.

Anyone else extremely tempted by Baines from GW31 on? Home games against WBA, Sunderland, Fulham and Newcastle look reasonable shouts for cleanies, trips to Norwich and Wolves should provide opportunity for attacking returns. He continues to create chances and perhaps Jelavic is the man to convert them. Possible DGW in there too. At this stage of the season, he doesn't damage the rest of the squad as much due to higher team value. I have a 70 point lead to reel in so Baines is appealing as a potentially game-changing differential.

Morning lads. Is it just me, or is Ba's price going up crazily fast? Looks set for another rise today. That will be 0.3m in 4 days (I think?). Should his price not have been protected for 6 days after the flag came off? 0.6m difference, makes it more tempting to go for Cisse as a differential. He certainly seemed to be playing higher up the pitch then Ba yesterday, and with Best's injury will be nailed on.

"My wife's team" got in RVP real late, so will be switching him to Aguero for two games only (GW26,27) and having the double dembas for WOL, SUN, ars, NOR. In my own team, I am going to have another look against Spurs, and decide which one to bring in. Just hope the prices haven't risen too much by then.

Neither will be rotated. Our back up strikers are leon best (out for 6 weeks), Shola Ameobi, and Peter Lovernkrands!!!! Both are as nailed on as the come. Might be rested if they are tired, but that would be the same for anybody.

Ha ha ha. I'm buzzing mate. Especially by the fact that it looks like Papisto is going to settle straight in. What a strike!! Stayed up to watch the man utd game, hoping that they would put 11 past Chelsea, so we could go clear in 4th, but alas it wasn't to be! I've said before on here, but got shot down for it, that IF we could magically stay injury free we could challenge for 4th. Our first 11 is that strong. Our back up has performed brilliantly, we beat blackburn without 5 of our first 11, but the truth is, that the likes of Williamson, Perch, Best and Ameobi aren't strong enough back up for a challenge for 4th spot.

I would say it more like penalties even up the fact that cisse plays higher up the pitch. The thing that made Ba the more obvious option, is that Cisse could take time to settle. But on last nights showing, he seems pretty settled!!

ohh yeah, chelsea got good games coming up, and he has a wicked shot on him, might get a cheeky goal and cs in the next few. but as long as you have back up if he doesnt play, really not sure about the whole chealsea defence situation atm. not going near it myself. whole long is terry out?

Yeah that's what I was thinking and it also frees up some cash so I can do Dzeko > Aguero when they're playing home to BLA + BOL otherwise I would've brought in Bosingwa but that leaves me short...

I'm really not sure with the whole Terry situation but they need to accept that he'll be out for some time (seeing as Suraez got an 8 match ban for a similar incident) so they need to get Cahill some games - especially as they've just splashed the cash on him

Mcclean or Sess. Having both is too much for me. Can't really pick one, depends on your strikers as well and if you want to go the two cheap midfielder strategy or just one.

Anybody taking a punt on the Ox? I'm shipping out Ben Arfa for him this gameweek. Not too much of a risk given Ben Arfa's disappointing game time of late.

What about when Gervinho returns? Rotation risk?
