It’s not been the greatest of gameweeks so far, has it? With a couple of clashes still to go, many of us will be keeping a keen eye on tomorrow night’s events at the Emirates, with the hopes of many a Fantasy manager pinned firmly on the shoulders of Robin Van Persie.

For now, though, our members can now pick through all the statistics from the Gameweek and, once again, we’ve picked out some eye-catching numbers to digest. As usual, we’ve also included our prediction of where the Fantasy Premier League bonus will go…

Mark Mark created the beast. He's now looking to tame it.

WC are pretty random tbh. Bunch of new players but no guarantees that the new guys will score better. And I can't see a good week to make best use from a WC now.

Is this smugness about him scoring against Arsenal a few months ago?

Scoring against Arsenal does not suddenly make one good enough to play for United, otherwise everyone would be after Danny Graham.

Smugness due to the 1 in 2 goals per game and the excellent link up play, and the fact he's going to be Englands no.1 striker at the euros. If he can improve his finishing he'll become the complete striker.

And i quote: "Cleverley has more chance than Welbeck though. A) because he plays in a position where United are a little thin. B) he isn’t shit like Welbeck."

Good to see you again Faulk 🙂

              Funny, 6 goals in 22 games doesn't like 1 in 2 😕

He'll be England's first choice striker because everyone else is shit/injured/suspended. It's not like he's beaten off serious competition.

I see Hernandez is closing in on being that "complete striker" too 😛

                  For now, barmy ol' cack.

In June? who knows. I'd be surprised if he didn't want to know what our transfer plans for the summer were before signing off.

I didn't blame Nasri for jumping ship last summer (although it was the wrong move for his personal development), and I wouldn't blame RvP either.

As much as he's the best striker in the world right now, he'll be 29 in August, and if we are going to re-invest in the right manner, it wouldn't be the end of the world.

For what it's worth, if they offer you 30-40m i think they should sell. As you say, fast approaching 30, although his game isn't based on pace.

    Repost

    Hi Guys!

    My Team:

    Vorm Krul

    Enrique Skrtel Caulker Simpson Evans

    Siggy Bale Dempsey Nani Yaya

    RVP Rooney Pog

    Bank: 3.2,

    1 FT

I would like to play a 3-4-3 formation for GW 29 and dunno which midfielder to bench? Could possibly get rid of Nani and go for Young or even get rid of Yaya for Morrison, Miyaichi or someone else perhaps?

Kindly ask for your advice. Muchh appreciated.

It's a tough one, I just think Liverpool will concede and that's bad points for Howard and Skrtel unless they save a penalty (or lots of save points) and get an assist/goal respectively.

Drenthe isn't all that and can't personally see him doing a huge amount.

Walcott is against a lately bad form Newcastle and could well get a goal, can see Ba getting a goal too.

it now seems City cover is not essential. Are they in a bit of trouble ? Gone are their 3/4 goals a game,Ok their cs have improved but their defence is dear and rotating and absences of kompany/lescott weakens considerably. Savic is no Jevan! Time will tell if they can turn it around and more interestingly can they handle the pressure in the run-in.

    Early non-Rooney GW29 captaincy poll

    A) Bale (STO)
    B) Ba (NOR)
    C) RVP (eve)

Depends what he can pull out of the bag tomorrow, if he is poor again I will probably keep for Norwich and then ship out. Can't afford to be carrying players at this stage of the season.

            yeah same

Will look to draft in Odem or Mario unless someone hits a real purple patch or looks like they're about too. Hope he's still on pens as well.

I'm tempted to keep Ba, but far from certain yet. If Bale will keep showing signs of fatigue I will downgrade him for a cheap mid and get Rooney in for Ba.

Yeah I won't be getting Roo, just no chance for that and other than that my team looks really strong for gw29, so i'm content. And I'm indeed hoping for Ba's goals to come.

      Rooney 3, Young 2 ??? 1

      Moses 3, Hoolahan 2 ???1

Not sure with the swansea game, talk of Caulker getting 3 and possibly Vorm with 1?

exactly same as me. RVP smashing it tomorrow will do us both good.

a high scoring draw with RvP and Ba both smashing it would be great

(just as long as Raylor doesn't get any assists)

what you doing with Ba after Norwich? You moving him out or staying on him.

My transfer this week will rule out a switch to Ade. Will either keep him or ship him for Odem or Mario.

I am saving 2FTs to decide. Should be clearer on the Nani/Young/Valencia issue by then. I am keeping him for Norwich. Tempted by Balotelli tbh. But it is most likely I will go for a cheaper forward. Ade is not under consideration, the git never does well in my team and them goes nuts when I take him out.

I will probs get Young in this week, tis easy to downgrade to Valencia. Taiwo is out GW30 so Ba is until then and i will have 8.8 to spend, so plenty of options. Odemwingie is back on the watchlist so is Jelavic. Mario is only in as seems to be getting more game time and is on pens.
