I am roughly 15 points leading my mini-league and the 2nd and 3rd place are chasing me up real fast, and they both have aguero while I have rooney.
therefore i will need to take risks and punts to win this thing..

Don't let that put you off. Worrying about who to bench is a good problem to have. It doesn't matter how many points that you miss out on on your bench, its how many points the players you pick score that counts. Who cares if valencia or siggie get you 7 points on your bench, if the front 7 that you pick score more? Also, it means that you are covered for a last minute injury or rotation.
Hmm i agree with this. My original plan was to do McClean to BArfa.

Would anyone care to estimate what percentage of site users just come on here and read the articles, and what percentage actually trawl through all of the comments? I know that my main rival uses this site, but don't know to what extent. I like to think that there is a good chance that he doesn't read my posts, but that could be wishful thinking. Its not like I hide my identity much, so if he follows the comments, he will know who I am. Are you there?? You know who you are!!

Its my comments that I am worried about him seeing, not my team. So presuming that he now knows that his rival is China Mag, the only way to do it would be to change my user name. And not let people know. It has taken me ages to get to the point were i am known on here, and people reply to my posts, so I wouldn't want to lose that!
I'm assuming you didn't tell him about your user name, but even if you didn't he would be able to make sure that it's indeed you from your link. That gives you away imo, IF he doesn't know that you're China Mag. Reduces the risk I'd say.

I didn't tell him my user name, but i'm not exactly shy about my location (not many fantasy football players where I am!!), and our league situation, etc. He wouldn't need to be a genius to work out who I am!

No. Field your 11 who will score the most pts. Disregard your opponent. Siggy is a must imo

People's thoughts on who to play from Walcott (CHE) or Ben Arfa (STO) ... leaning towards Walcott with Chelsea's rotation and general fatigue, but Ben Arfa has been out-standing of recent.
If it comes down to the two, i would bench walcott. But if possible, play them both. I am!

The problem with getting in a villa player, means it gives you one less transfer for a DGW player that you would actually want in GW36. I would only consider a villa (or bolton) player if I was wild carding next week. But I wouldn't actually do it, because a man city striker is much better for a one week punt.

52 points compared to my opponents 57. I have Vermaelen and RVP(c) to play and fielded 9 this week. He has Arteta Walcott and RVP to play after taking a 12pt hit to field 11 for this week.
Pleased with that return. Hope RVP gets at least a double tonight.

Should I bring in Collins for BAE or Collins for Vermallen. Ars has 2 tough fixtures at Stroke and Chelsea. Spurs have good fixtures against Blackburn & Bolton but their defense is weak.

Chelsea probably have too many distractions now though. FA Cup is realistically their only chance of a trophy this season so I think they will be trying to avoid injuries until then. So playing Verm this week might work out OK.
Who to bring in from Chelsea for the DGW ... only Mata makes sense at the moment, the forwards are so uncertain with the amount of likely rotation.
Sturridge, Drogs, Torres ... couldn't say I'd bring any of them in for a triple gameweek.
Have they got their eyes on the Cup final now though?
Realistically their only chance of a trophy this season and will players hold back now to 'save' themselves for the Cup Final?
So avoid Chelsea you think ... i tend to agree, although Mata has been out-standing thus far and could quite easily pop in a couple against QPR
