Carlos Tevez takes the title race and the Gameweek by the scruff of the neck with a stunning display in City’s merciless mauling of Norwich. United duly picked up the gauntlet, however, with a four-goal drubbing of Villa this afternoon.

Our Members can lose themselves in the statistics from all of the Gameweek’s matches so far – here’s our pick of the key numbers, together with our thoughts on the destination of the Fantasy Premier League (FPL) bonus points…

Mark Mark created the beast. He's now looking to tame it.

    Mig, Valencia, JEvans, McAuley

      Would rather mids and forwards than a defender, they're likely to concede against Chelsea.

      HBA would make the most sense ... and for a massive differential, bring back ... **drum roll**

        One of each is a must. I see no reason why that should be any different to untied and citeh, as all 3 teams have been returning cleanies and goals, regardless of fixture.

        Simpson, Barfa and Cisse for me, but I wish I'd taken Krul instead of Friedel...

        I don't deny Chelsea were deserved winners. But the better team does not always win, and 5-1 was a flattering scoreline for them.

        It leaves a bitter taste in my mouth that a couple of poor decisions really took the game away from us.

        Made worse of course by the flak I have endured all day

      Didn't see the game but a lot of people are talking about the shift in momentum with a couple of howlers from the ref. Can't always blame the ref, Spurs have been out of sorts and Chelsea have found form again ... but such a disappointing score-line.

      I now have the problem of trying to choose who i want to lose MORE in the final.

    WHO HAS actually DONE Rooney out for Tevez/Aguero?

    Its such a tough one, Rooney is the main man at Utd, he can score 2 goals and have 6 shots on target and still look out of sorts, i dont want to miss out on his potential points v Everton and Match winning bicycle kick v City.....

    HOWEVER i DO want Tevez in my team, that ugly rude little man is fantastic when he plays! But who for.... IF RVP blanks tonight i might pull the trigger.

    Why are people considering Scarface if they can get Kun for 700k cheaper? And he is on peno's?

      mainly because before Saturday Aguero's away record was awful. Tevez is proven at PL level, home and away.

      Scarface Lolzzz....

      0.7 cheaper isnt too much right now,

      Tevez was on Pens before his episode.... perhaps he will be back on them, we just dont know,

      It seems he can assist, score, have more of the ball, plays more centrally, if he played 90 every game he would be in my team i just dont know yet and its getting a bit late, its now or never for me and i still dont know. i need Mark to write an article telling me to BUY TEVEZ

      Other than being a differential can't see a reason and even then the people who don't pick Tevez will probably pick Aguero so they could cancel each other out. Besides, Kun is better.

      1) Tevez is a massive differential with huge upside potential.
      2) Might be on penos/FKs as well. He’s just too good a spot-kick taker, imo.
      3) Selfish interest/motivation for Tevez, apart from Mancini’s push for the title.
      4) Partly, Aguero’s away troubles in the past.

        Reason 4 is probably the most valid.
        The perfect foil and confidence booster for a fragile travelling Aguero?

        Aguero all the way for me.

      During my betting days I learned never to bet on a derby, and never to bet against the toon at home. City have wolves *during a DGW* then all bets are off, IMO.

      Either of them will do well against Wolves @ home, then I'd have both of them out. Too risky.

    STRAW POLL (once again, seeing how indecisive the results were the last time)

    Which option do you reckon will score the highest in gw35?

    A) Tevez/Kun/HBA – 8
    B) Tevez/Cisse/Silva – 8
    C) Tevez/Cisse/Val – 4
    D) Roo/Cisse/Val

    For GW36

    2 free transfers will propably be valencia + rooney => bale/vdv + adebayor

    I will take at least one hit too, so what do you say for these
    a) sess => bale/vdv - worth a hit?
    b) kompany => baines - worth a hit?
    c) sess + kompany => bale/vdv + jagielka - worth a 8 point hit?
    d) sess + kompany => bale/vdv + any che defender - worth a 8 point hit?
