    Shouldn't Cech be retrospectively sent-off? You see yellow cards handed out this way when play is allowed to go on so why not red cards?

      The ITV reporter just explained it - would have to be violent conduct for a red as well as allowing the goal.

    Explain to me why a player gets booked having fouled when play continues outside the box but the ref ignores in situations like this? Surely Cech should be penalised?

      Parker lovely ball through to ade who went one on one with keeper, took it passed him and was brought down but ball ran on to bale who tapped it in.

      Adebayor breaks with Bale to his left. One on one with Cech, the goalie goes down, trips up Ade, ball rolls to Bale and he taps it in. If he hadn't scored, Cech woulda been sent off methinks.
