As promised, our Sky Sports Stats tables are now live and available in our Members Area. These new tables can be found under Player Stats, with the additional button giving access to tables that list the key stats that govern the Sky Sports Fantasy Football bonus points.

For those who haven’t noticed the rule change in the Sky Sports game, players now earn 2 points for achieving 60+ successful passes in a match, with a further 2 points awarded for players winning four or more tackles. The game will use Opta data to award these bonus points.

In our stats tables you can view Successful Passes and Tackles Won for last season’s players and we’ve added tables that record the number of bonus points players would have been awarded based on this data. We’ve broken these down into passes and tackles, added an overall bonus total column and included a minutes per bonus stat so you can assess players according to time played.

As with all our stats, you can filter these by a series of intervals, including last four matches, last four Gameweeks and Home and Away matches.

Of course, we’ll be running these tables next season so you’ll be able to apply these filters to the stats as things progress to spot those players taking advantage of the new bonus rules.

Right now, this data is not available in the Sky Sports Fantasy Football game or anywhere else – only our members have access to these stats.

We’ll be following this up with a full in-depth article for members, analysing the trends that these tables reveal and identifying the likely targets, in terms of bonus points, for the coming season.

If you’re yet to register for the Sky Sports game, you can do so here. Please note, the game is only available to those in the UK and Ireland.

The overall winner of the Sky Sports Fantasy game gets £25,000. Our league is entitled FFScout and our PIN code is 8004519: we have a home cinema system worth £600 up for grabs for the winner.

If you want access to these new stats and want details on becoming a member, click here for instructions on signing up and more details on what’s on offer.

Mark Mark created the beast. He's now looking to tame it.

Touré and Arteta look to be very decent picks for the Sky game. I've had them in for a while along with Britton but looking at the stats, it has only confirmed my choices.

Invaluable tool for the Sky game - nice one Scout Team.

Arteta could be a bit overvalued with Carzola probably taking some of his set pieces and also playing more advanced than him.

If Arteta is playing as one of the DF's then I would imagine he would rack up the passes and therefore hoover up these extra bonus points.

Ok sorry I failed to read that you are playing the sky game. 🙂 I am not playing it myself so not aware of the situation there. I was considering arteta too in the PL game but now that Carzola is there I feel that he wont be as good and could even get rotated once Wilshere is back. At the same time he could be on Penalties.

After all the talk of man its cover and their uncertainty, plus fat boy, and now lescott possibly at rotation risk? I've changed team around a bit..

    Schwarzer (Mignolet)
    Terry Vidic Hangeland (Fonte) (Demel)
    McClean Pienaar Bale Yaya (Maloney)
    Graham Torres Aguero

    Nowt left in the bank.
    Any thoughts?

I've gone with Pienaar, will be the more consistent scorer, and agree that the impact of Cahill's departure has been exaggerated following a poor season. It looks like Naismith, if anyone, will adopt the Cahill role, so expect Fellaini to still play rather deep.

Want something other than a RMT to answer?

How can I get rid of a crafty slug? I've got one that's been living with me for about 2 months. I tried putting salt around the sides and I'm sure the little bugger just eats it.

Nice team, would be worried about no City defensive coverage and none at all in gw3. Also double Sunderland defence, but apart from that looks quite good. How about Hazard/Mignolet -> Lampard/Friedel?

Not worried about no City coverage in def, Kompany is the only one I want and he is way too much money. If Spurs sign Steklenberg/Lloris I will slot them in somehow but starting with Brad is a risk I dont fancy. Lampard meh.

Why? I'll get strong production in the back and potentially explosive production up front. Pienaar and Noble have favorable fixtures early on, so I'm expecting them to produce modest returns from midfield. If things go south, I can sell one of my strikers after week two and upgrade a midfielder. I know this could be foolish, but I see more uncertainty at midfield league-wide than the other two-thrids of the pitch early in the season.

Past performance doesn't ensure future results, but...

Hart costs 7M and scored 166 points last season.

Bale is the only sure thing over Hart among those you listed, as far as I'm concerned. Walcott costs 9M and scored 169 last season. Nani costs 9M and scored 157 last season. Toure costs 8M and scored 139 last season (obviously missing matches for African Cup matches held that down, but still).

As for my defenders, they're accurately priced. If you look at midfielders from 6-7M, such as Sinclair, Walters, Larsson, etc., you'll see they have very similar production to those "expensive" defenders.

            Is that persuasive?
