Sunday’s action brings an end to our first weekend of the season – a breathless 3-2 victory for Man City providing a fitting conclusion. Here’s our regular Members article, picking out some of the key stats from the weekend’s games…

Hats off to the generic FFS team....Definitely hit the goldmine.
Open Controls-
😐
Open Controls-
Pity some of us went our own way 🙂
But you gotta agree Michu, Petric, Ivanovic, Tevez were all much recommended options.Open Controls-
Don't forget Nasri and Dyer as well! Such a case of what could have been....
Open Controls -
I lost out on all of the choices. Went Taarabt over Michu (even though they're diff prices), Graham over Petric, Cole over Ivanovic and Aguero over Tevez. The only thing thats gone right is Lampard captain.
Open Controls-
the aguero injury is so pissing off. He was my trump card. Broke my team to get him in
Open Controls-
never break your team
Open Controls-
by break i mean accomodatin a 11+ striker when no one in my league did
Open Controls
-
-
Same here....On the plus side, I can easily get RVP/Rooney now if I want. But Man Utd's fixtures after gw3 aren't that great. Time to put on the thinking cap.
Open Controls-
I hope Rooney and RVP both start and Rooney looks brilliant. Straight swap
Open Controls
-
-
-
-
Not all were popular here.
Pity I didn't pick ONE of those 😛
N'Zogbia, Graham, Rafael, Aguero, Mata over Michu, Petric, Ivanovic, Tevez, Lampard! 😀Open Controls

-
-
so much more for thinking outside the D.

Repost:
My current team is:
DDG – Federici
Lescott – Hangeland – Saylor – Demel – Barnett
Silva – Hazard – Michu (used my ft 2 get him in) – Maloney – Guthrie
Aguero – Torres – Graham
2.0m spare
Should I:
A) Use my wild card restructure team
B) Take a hit and attempt to swap out Aguero and/or Torres for Tevez and/or RVP/RooneyOpen Controls-
Don't use your wildcard yet, that's a good looking team and you only need to bench Aguero for now
Open Controls
-
-
Everyone seems to have forgotten pienaar. will be watchin him very closely tonight. And RVP/Rooney of course.
Open Controls-
lookin at Sunderland's fixtures Mclean looks good too
Open Controls-
he was outstanding last season, particularly if bought cheap
Open Controls-
Mclean or Pienaar?
Open Controls-
Naismith might nick some points off Pienaar. I'm tempted by McClean - bonus whore!
Open Controls
-
-
-
He took all the baps without standing out against Arsenal too. Seems to be a major bonus magnet
Open Controls-
Question - How did he manage that? One shot on target and blocks?
Open Controls-
Your guess is better than mine and I watched the whole game lol. The EA nonsense points come from their fifa sims for all I know.
Open Controls
-
-
He got just 14 PPI.. just an overall average game.
BTW... Noble got 15 PPI! looks a bp whore in 0-0's. Don't tell anyoneOpen Controls
-
-
-
-
I could go Aguero to Tevez then Guthrie to Michu, But that would make my mids; Cazorla, Bale, Michu, Pienaar, Toure
Thoughts??Open Controls -
-
-
Nope, want to hear some views besides Ivanovic's points tally today.
Open Controls
-
-
Cole because of 10 times the goal threat....
Open Controls-
Disagree with this.
Open Controls-
sarcasm?
Open Controls
-
-
ivanovic: 8 goals in the last 3 seasons
cole: 0 goals in the last 3 seasonsOpen Controls-
that said, there's a chance ivanovic will be out of the team by next week.
Open Controls -
Yeah I was aware of Ivanovic as an aerial threat and his bombing runs, much more of a threat in recent seasons than Cashley, but thought that Cashley is nailed on if not to rest once a blue moon with Bertrand whereas I had a gut feeling right back nobody had nailed down. Not sure why.
Open Controls-
well bosingwa was competition but he's gone to qpr, but azpilcueta is very likely to be coming in next couple days.
Open Controls
-
-
-
-
Wait until the international break to see if big Ivan's still starting. Also when they actually have a game...

**repost**
Hi all. Would love an opinion on my team. It's done me proud this week but I am clearly overweight Chelsea going in to week 3. I am considering doing nothing this week and doing Torres/Mata -> Rooney/Duff next weeks. Thoughts?
Mignolet
Clark, Zabaleta, Cole A
Michu, Yaya Toure, Mata, Valencia
Petric, Tevez, Torres
Federici, Tierney, Pienaar, Coloccini.
p.s. does the bench look right for next week?
thanks all.Open Controls-
Don't get rid solely because of no game in week 3. Think long term.
Open Controls -
Nah, you looked fine for week 3
Open Controls
-
My Team:
De Gea Fedrici
Kompany A.Cole Hangeland Culler Coloccini
Mata YayaToure Bale Britton Guthrie
Tevez Torres Graham
Any Changes Required for the Next week ?
My worries are in Britton and Guthrie :arow: Michu and ???Open Controls -
@Nitin (From Last Page)
Tevez oR Rooney/RVP in for AgueroOpen Controls-
Thanks
Open Controls

Aaaaaarrrrrggggggghhhh!!!!!!!!
Open Controls-
well good morning 😉
Open Controls-
Afternoon 😉
Open Controls
-
-
35?!? 😯
Open Controls -
What happened?
And Morning/Afternoon.Open Controls -
Youve even named your team after him
Open Controls -
Bloody tinkering 😡
Had Ivanovic, Michu and Petric and took them all out on Saturday.
Cost me at least 40 points 🙁Open Controls-
Same here. Not Michu - but I had Ivanovic, Petric, Hazard 🙁
Open Controls-
27?!? 🙁
Open Controls-
Best part is my opponents Gink and Brian are on 24 and 28! 😀
Open Controls -
63 points 😎
Open Controls-
Gloating will get you nowhere.
Open Controls
-
-
I'm on 28 🙁
Agüero 🙁 , Mata 🙁 , Torres c 🙁 Bale 🙁
kaca n Demel on the bench 🙁Open Controls
-
-
-
-
Did Noble take any set pieces on saturday? Did he offer any kind of attackin threat from open play?
Open Controls-
15 ppi without a goal or assist. Bodes well if he offers any of the above
Open Controls
-
-
Morning again folks!
Open Controls-
-
-
Morning.
Open Controls
-
-
-
-
I may have knee jerked, but I think I made the right call.
Got Michu yesterday and today I see a price increase?
Just glad I have Tevez and not Aguero so I don't have to worry on his injury.
Interesting game week already...Open Controls -
What was Al-Habsi doing on the Ivanovic goal. Looked like he just lied down like pregnant horse.
Open Controls -
New on the site, hey all!
team right now is:
Hart - Federici
Hangeland - Angel Rangel - Rafael - (Barnett - Lowton)
Mata - Bale - Michu - Noble - (Pienaar)
Petric - Torres - Aguero
is the Torres, Aguero, Mata conundrum worth the second week wild card?
my major competitors have similar line ups but had better luck with their Chelsea and City players, and all got more points from their Goalies.Open Controls-
It might help to clarify what exactly the 'conundrum' is?
Open Controls-
Them not playing GW3 and Aguero possibly sidelined?
Honestly, I'd just be VERY wise on your subs for the next two weeks. Point hits won't be worth it in my opinion.Open Controls-
should I try to move on at least one of the Chelsea players this next week? probably Mata.. and then play a 4-4-2 on GW3? and yeah that's what i'm worried about mate, ideally i'd be going into GW3 with only one Chelsea player, and have two functioning strikers up top. not relishing playing a 5-4-1, if that's even a possibility
Open Controls-
I'd recommend Tevez... even without Aguero's injury he seems to find himself in a lot of good goal scoring opportunities.
But if you do have 2 in the bank, wait until Rooney plays tomorrow.
Tough call, but you can always downgrade Mata > Hazard. The problem with doing it now is that you still have that Chelsea hole in two weeks.Open Controls-
Tevez had a great game yesterday, Aguero had a great pre-season though? Think theyre about even when fit. Also Mata's likely to be rested, especially based on his performance today.
I made a stupid decision and took Michu back angrily after selling him just before the games started, so that leaves me one transfer before the Chelsea hole in GW3...Open Controls
-
-
-
-
From the first week there seems to be better options for a similar price: Tevez, Hazard for example
Open Controls-
Then it becomes a question of who you give up on first. If Aguero isn't injured, that particular situation hasn't really changed, don't you agree?
Open Controls-
True! mind answering my longer comment to The One and Only (relegated) Wanderers?
Open Controls-
No fixtures in GW3 is a factor, but it's not everything. The decision is ultimately yours - that's the name of the game.
Open Controls-
Think I'll move Mata on and hope Aguero recovers then. thanks!
Open Controls
-
-
-
-
-
-
nah just take a hit, no big deal.
Open Controls
-
-
The deadzone is deaddddddddddddddddddd
Open Controls -
So Aguero(c) could be an immense differential GW3
Open Controls-
or an immense differential GW2 for that matter, after his injury proves to be trivial. 😉
Open Controls-
Yes but he wont be (c) GW2. Liverpool at home will get points.
Open Controls-
-
A draw atleast. We will see a new Liverpool at anfield.
Open Controls
-
-
-
I'm only switching him out if Rooney/RVP look exceptionally good, or the prognosis looks serious
Open Controls-
One of Rooney/RVP are essential.
Open Controls
-
-
-
Any news regarding his injury lay-off that I've missed?
Open Controls-
He tweeted its not as serious. Scan news out today or tomorrow.
Open Controls-
I doubt he'll return before Gw4.
http://soccernet.espn.go.com/news/story/_/id/1137654/manchester-city's-sergio-aguero-eases-knee-injury-fears?cc=4716Open Controls-
Looking at RVP?
Open Controls-
I have no fecking idea what to do.
Options to remove are Aguero, Torres, Mata, McCleary. Aguero/Torres -> RvP/Roo/Tevez likely.Open Controls-
No Torres should stay. Very much. You also have a good team around for GW2 so no need to panic. Wait for what the Aguero news is then take a call.
Open Controls
-
-
-
-
-
-
-
most unlucky gw for me, and its only 1st week .__.
NO assist, NO goals, 1 clean sheet
AND
i have bale, mata, torres (C), Graham, Aguro, Zabate,
only hangland cleansheet.Open Controls-
Same except I dont have Aguero and Zabate. Im pretty annoyed with Mata and Torrest right now You getting Michu?
Open Controls
-
-
Thoughts on Uniteds lineup for tonight?
De Gea
Rafael - Vidic - Evra - Valencia
Nani - Carrick - Young
Kagawa
RVP - RooneyOpen Controls-
Cleverley will start as CM and Carrick will be CB
Open Controls -
Valencia won't play LB. Either RB or on the wings.
Carrick might play CB if Rio is ruled out injured.Open Controls -
De Gea
Rafael - Carrick - Vidic - Evra
Valencia - Scholes - Carrick - Nani
RvP/Kagawa - Rooney
With Carrick at CB, we'll need Scholes and Carrick in the center of the park.Open Controls -
DDG
Valencia Vidic Carrick Evra
Nani Cleverley Kagawa Young
RVP Rooney
have a feeling that SAF is very weird about not playing RafaelOpen Controls-
+1 Except I think Rafael will be RB and Valencia will be RM If i remember correctly I think SAF said Rafael will be RB
Open Controls-
Id like to see Powell having a cameo even if its going to be a short one, he seems to be heels above everyone in the L2 (Yes I know its L2 but hes 18)
Open Controls
-
-
-
read somewhere that they could be playing a 4-2-1-3 ish formation:
De Gea
Rafael - Vidic - Evra - Valencia
Carrick - ??
Kagawa
RVP - Rooney - Welbeck/Hernandez
similar to the team with Tevez, Ronaldo and Rooney a few years backOpen Controls-
Not Evra in the middle, Ferdinand*
Open Controls -
Cleverley
Open Controls -
-
think it would be the best way to utilize RVP and Kagawa... and Nani and Young could both play in the front 3 when needed.
Open Controls
-
-
That team was 4-5-1/4-3-3, don't think anyone played in the hole?
Open Controls-
http://soccernet.espn.go.com/blog/_/name/tacticsandanalysis/id/5?cc=5901
what he says is not quite in the hole, more at the head of a midfield triangle. so I guess 4-3-3 is the correct term for it.Open Controls
-
-
-
De Gea
Rafael Carrick Vidic Evra
Valencia Cleverly Scholes Nani
Kagawa
Rooney
RVP off the benchOpen Controls
-
-
What you guys think of this? http://www1.skysports.com/football/news/11667/8004519/United-move-for-Buttner
Open Controls-
bargain at that price, especially for his potential and current attributes!
Open Controls-
As Jason does say
Open Controls -
Probably just Fergie telling every step your game up. Back up.
Open Controls -
What attributes? He's quick but not a great passer or attacker, and his positioning needs work like 95% of the Eredivisie from what I saw of Vitesse. He's cocky and has promise though so it could work out alright in the end.
Open Controls-
Its not my quote I copied it from a comment with a lot of likes from the article. Anyways, how do you know hes cocky? Cocky as Ronaldo? Or what?
Open Controls-
No, cocky as the GW1 gloaters on this board 🙂
"I played against the best wingers in the Eredivisie and none of them played me off the pitch. On the contrary, I owned them all"Open Controls -
Also when people talk about attributes I think they just loaded up their fifa games to did some pro scouting
Open Controls
-
-
-
-
-
It looks like Torres price will be safe til next Gw
Open Controls-
Nope. It will shoot up after the reading game.
Open Controls
-
-
Evening folks, just got home.
I see Michu has rose according to plan. Did anyone else rise/drop?
I also see Tevez on 96%, so a price rise tmrw is imminent?
Lastly, how the feck didnt Tevez get a boner?Open Controls-
Michu rose, Song dropped.
http://www.fiso.co.uk/crackthecode.phpOpen Controls -
Yeah, has me beat. He got shots on target, many passes in the attacking third, won a penalty... What more do they want?
Open Controls -
Song dropped.
Tevez to rise. Possibly also NDyer and less so Petric.
There is only one kind of baps I will comment on this season.Open Controls -
Not to my knowledge. I managed to snag Michu before the price increase, and already have Tevez.
Rooney seems safe. Hazard already had a significant amount of ownership so I'd see him being safe as well.
Might want to keep an eye on Petric though.Open Controls-
Not interested in Petric anyway.
Open Controls

having a bit of a shocker so far
Vorm
7
Hangeland - Vidic - A Cole
6 YTP 6
Park- Toure - Kagawa - Bale
2 7 YTP 2
Pog - Torres (C) - Aguero - im a united fan and even I was sad he got injured! haha
2 4 1Open Controls-
Link your team, and spare us the Trigonometry.
Open Controls
-
-
Cant wait to see Rooney and RVP in action see how they gel.
Open Controls -
-
Is getting Tevez in for Aguero before the price rise a good idea or just wait on the news?
Open Controls-
Calm down.
Open Controls-
Yes i'm calm. Just always never had great value in my teams so wondered what the serious players did. The rationale thing would be to wait for news on Aguero but its ok to let Tevez rise by 0.1? I mean i am not even looking at getting Tevez because Rooney/RVP are more of a priority. Just wanted to know what people generally do around here.
Open Controls -
Christina, you about?
Open Controls -
Christina?
Open Controls-
Yes?
Open Controls-
I post in the previous tab and it appears here. Weird. Need your opinion on the matter above. My first serious season so yes, i would appreciate it.
Open Controls-
Great start BTW. Don't mess it up by over reacting. You have 2m and I assume that was for Torres-->Rooney? So wait for news on Kun and Manu to play.
Then take it from there. Use your squad even if it means benching kun for gw 2. Forget about Tevez going up by 100k or Kun dropping by 100k. We are playing for points, not team value.
You can even keep Torres and get Rvp/Rooney in for Kun.
Just forget about everything for now and enjoy your gw 1 score.Open Controls
-
-
-
-
-
wait on it, I think. if Aguero comes back he'll be a massive differential in the next few gameweeks as everybody jumps on the Tevez bandwagon. worth the potential price rise imo
Open Controls
-
Agüero
Knee injury - 75% chance of playingOpen Controls-
Yet to have a scan. Sure that's a preliminary status.
Open Controls-
Ye, I expect if it was a very bad injury, they would know.
Open Controls
-
-
i don't know how they can say this when they don't even know the results of the test yet
