There’s two tasty fixtures on the bill today, as the Dugout Discussion opens for the second installment of Gameweek two. We start at the Britannia Stadium as Stoke City host Arsenal, and the team news is in…

Stoke XI: Begovic, Wilkinson, Huth, Shawcross, Wilson, Pennant, Cameron, Whelan, Kightly, Walters, Crouch.

Arsenal XI: Mannone, Jenkinson, Mertesacker, Vermaelen, Gibbs, Diaby, Arteta, Podolski, Cazorla, Gervinho, Giroud.

Having been cleared to play, new signing Geoff Cameron makes his Potters debut in midfield. The visitors are without Wojciech Szczesnydue to a rib injury, so Vito Mannone is between the sticks. There’s a first league start for Olivier Giroud, with Theo Walcott the player making way.

Following that game we move to Anfield, where bottom of the league Liverpool welcome the visit of the Premier League champions Manchester City.

    How are we folks? Just wondering what changes you lads and ladies might make in order to get RVP. Gonna take a hit but it is RVP after all.

    At the mo:

    DDG Jussi

    Ridgewell Riise Ivanovic Jags Jenkinson

    Nasri Michu Cazorla Kacanikilc Hazard

    Petric Tevez Ba

    So I can either:

    Cazorla + Ba = RVP + El Ahmadi, giving me 2 big guns up front but two questionable guns in midfield (where most of the points have been so far)

    or I could also:

    Cazorla + Tevez = RVP + Pienaar, leaving me a large, medium and small gun up front and scoring options at Chelsea, City, United & Everton.

    Thoughts?

      I think your first option, then you can upgrade your midfield over time by downgrading some defenders.

          Nice one, thanks for that, will definitely hang on as sounds like Cazorla's playing a blinder but if it's just him making all the chances whereas RVP has them handed to him on a plate by Kags...

    Need to bring in Hazard GW4. Please choose from my options this week which will leave enough to get Hazard

    1.Bent – Ba. Then Valencia to Hazard Gw4

    2.Ivanovic – Rangel/Jagielka. Valencia – Hazard gw4

    3. Bent – Di Santo. Hoilett to Hazard this week (wont be able to afford him next week if I do this.)

    4. Risky one: Bent – RVP. Valencia – kacaniklic. Bale – Hazard gw4. (Will 10m be enough for Hazard gw4?)

    5. Torres – Balotelli. Valencia – Hazard gw4
    My other striker is Tevez
    Option 1 or 2 also leave me with funds to do Hoilett-Fellaini. Would this be worth it for 4 point hit?

      I'd say Dyer, as you have no Swansea cover and they are beastly and have beastly fixtures. And then save the rest of the money or upgrade one of your 3 cheap defenders.

    I have Tevez and Zabaleta sitting on 70.
    Should get at least 74 and hoping for 82 if there's a City clean sheet and a Tevez goal.

    For GW3 (and possibly foreseeable future):

    Torres -> Adebayor

    Or

    Ramires -> Adam Johnson.

    Have 1m in the bank and looking to possibly upgrade Bale to Hazard for GW4.
