There’s two tasty fixtures on the bill today, as the Dugout Discussion opens for the second installment of Gameweek two. We start at the Britannia Stadium as Stoke City host Arsenal, and the team news is in…

Stoke XI: Begovic, Wilkinson, Huth, Shawcross, Wilson, Pennant, Cameron, Whelan, Kightly, Walters, Crouch.

Arsenal XI: Mannone, Jenkinson, Mertesacker, Vermaelen, Gibbs, Diaby, Arteta, Podolski, Cazorla, Gervinho, Giroud.

Having been cleared to play, new signing Geoff Cameron makes his Potters debut in midfield. The visitors are without Wojciech Szczesnydue to a rib injury, so Vito Mannone is between the sticks. There’s a first league start for Olivier Giroud, with Theo Walcott the player making way.

Following that game we move to Anfield, where bottom of the league Liverpool welcome the visit of the Premier League champions Manchester City.

    Bale does not have me convinced...
    Yes, he has a home game against Norwich, but that doesnt mean he can do anything special.
    I waited for weeks upon weeks last season because i thought bale would spark up and start racking in the points, and i had no return for weeks. Bale is not a very consistent player and thats what makes me nervous about keeping him.

    Im looking at taking a hit to swap Bale -> Hazard. Im perfectly fine with hazard sitting on the bench this week as ive got other options to play. I just want to get ahead of the price changes and all. What are your thoughts?

      I'm looking at changing Terry out this week, getting Hazard in for Nzogbia the week after, and changing Bale to Nasri after that if he hasn't done anything.

      imo i would still keep bale because he has amazing fixtures, surely will get some points. Anyone else you can take out for Hazard? i think hazard is also a must.

    Hey guys,

    having a very average week with my Rooney (c), have already made two transfers, kagawa --> Mitchu and Rooney --> Rvp which seems pretty logical.

    Now I'm thinking I need to get rid of Holt. you guys reckon hilt --> petrie is worth another 4 point hit? or should I just wait until next week when I can do holt --> petric and lampard --> hazard. let me know what you think!

    Gervihno is a terrible player, i fail to see what/if any attributes he has that gets him into the first team? I've seen him run the ball into the corner only to be dispossessed an uncountable amount of times.

    Certainly doesn't add too this fairly dire spectacle. Bring the Ox on i say.

    Being a Begovic owner, everytime i see Arsenal shoot, i feel excited and nervous.
