We’ve been able to put our feet up and enjoy a few cold tinnies and give our wallet an international reprieve, through a second successful Flutter Gameweek in a row. Once again tripling our stake, Kevin Nolan’s early poach helped secure the full three points and a cleanie over a Fulham side clearly shell-shocked by the exit of Mousa Dembele and Clint Dempsey. Our season’s profit now sits at £43 and we’re looking to improve on that with this week’s Fantasy Flutter.

To win 3-0 after defeat of the same scoreline to Swansea in the week previous, certainly showed a resilience that had been lacking in the Hammers dressing room when sliding into the Championship a couple of seasons ago. Paddy wish to test this new mettle by offering us a tempting price for Scout Pick Robert Snodgrass to net and Norwich to keep a clean-sheet against Sam Allardyce’s side in the early Saturday kickoff. The bookie is offering an 8/1 is the price for this market, and considering Paddy are offering the same odds on him to score first, the price seems decent for this home double. We’re going to throw £2 their way on this.

James McClean only warmed the bench in the Republic of Ireland qualifier win over Kazakhstan, but got a run out in the decisive friendly win over Oman on Tuesday. He’ll be well rested and ready to prove himself to both club and country in Sunderland’s fixture against Liverpool at the weekend. Paddy price up a McClean goal and a Sunderland cleanie at 14/1, and with Liverpool floundering at the moment, this could be the some of the best value you’ll get this season. We’re punting £3 for another big return.

Next up under the Flutter focus is Arsenal’s new signing Santi Carzorla. His pace and agility both on and off the ball have torn defences apart in their opening fixtures, although the Gunners have only managed to capitalise in the win at Anfield last time out. Paddy offer a respectable 7/2 for a Cazorla goal and a fourth successive Gunners clean sheet. It’s got a good chance of getting over the line, as is reflected in the short odds, so we’ll steam in for £4 to make the return a little more appealing.

Our final punt of the week is on Everton’s Steven Pienaar. With two solid wins under their belt, The Toffees went into their game against West Brom with confidence, but some rash mid-fielding and limp marking at the back, the Baggies came away with the points. Pienaar by his own admission, had his worst game in an Everton shirt but has been outstanding in previous outings. With that in mind we put our last £1 on him to score against Newcastle and Everton to get a clean-sheet at 9/1.

Register and Bet £10 And Get £20 Free

If you’re new to Paddy Power, then you can take up any of these odds and get yourself a bonus. You can sign up via this site and get a free £20 when you register an account and bet a tenner.

Finally of course, we should state that all these offers are only available to those aged 18 and over and are subject to Paddy Power’s terms and conditions. Also, if you’re going to bet, always gamble responsibly.

Sorry for the repost guys but need some more opinions:

    Friedel, (Federici),
    Zab, Ivanovic, Cuellar, (Demel, Clyne),
    Hazard, YayaT, Pienaar, Michu, (Guthrie),
    RVP(C), Tevez, Graham. (0.4 bank)

Here’s the dilemma. I have exact cash to do Ivanovic -> Baines next week (GW 5). But if I do it and Lambert goes up in price next week, I can’t get him in for Graham the week after. And vice versa. If I get Lambert in next week and Baines goes up, I can’t get him the week after. So what should I do?

    A) Ivanovic -> Baines
    B) Graham -> Lambert
    C) Both for a 4 pt. hit
    D) Save transfer.

I have made no transfers but am seriously considering Zab->Baines but if I do that who should I bench – Rangel?? Another option is to save a transfer and do Zab->Clark and Noble->Michu next GW?

    Friedel
    Cole Hangeland Rangel Cuellar
    Hazard(VC) Toure McClean
    Pog Tevez RVP(C)
    Subs: Federichi, Noble, Maloney, Zabaleta

    Options:
    a) Save transfer and do Zab->Clark/Ridgewell and Noble->Michu next GW
    b) Zabaleta -> Baines, bench Rangel and play Baines

    ??

Hi all, Captain choice help required

    Friedel (federici)
Cuellar A Cole Hangeland (boyce s taylor)
    Michu Cazorla Yaya Bale (noble)
    Torres Tevez Graham

I have decided to not to take a hit to make another transfer, i reckon my team is not too bad. I hope bale will play well and RVP has an off day.

Who would you captain from that lot? I am leaning toward torres.

    Thoughts appreciated. xx

          not for me??

I opened an account a few days back and made 2 4pounds bet and 2 1pound accumulator,
is that the reason that I don't have the 20pounds?

Baines! Newcastle could get rocked and Baines has great fixtures. Don't think Ivanovic will be scoring many more goals. Baines could be involved in a lot. Corners and FKs, possibly PKs.

Same dilemma, I'm gonna stick with the form and hang on to Ivan, Form over fixtures always.

I've managed to fit Baines, Hazard, Bale, Santi Cazorla, Michu, Van Persie and Tevez in my team. 😀

Good players score well in FPL regardless of the fixtures though.

    On a wildcard.

Should I switch Jenkinson to Vermaelen now or wait till Sagna is fit and use the 1.5m to boost my midfield?

Depends what your midfield's like - I'd want Verm in today ideally.

I've had Vermaelen from the get go and I reckon he'll score eventually. This is a good week for it to happen, but it depends on your midfield.

Really? He's world class. He'll be invovled in everything Arsenal does, and he scored and assisted at the weekend. Much better player than Hazard and the stats prove it. I've had him since day one.

Better than Hazard? Hazard has 6 assists and 1 goal! and has looked like a world beater! and Cazorla got both of his attacking returns against Liverpool! as a 'pool fan I think Fletcher will score 4 against us today, whenever Liverpool play anyone they make the opposition play 10 times better

You did see the Man City game then?

But for two absolutely unpredictable moments of madness from your defence you would have (and should have) won that game.

City didn't look 10 times better that day!

LOL. Very true 😉 There's always exceptions to the curse which raise the hopes of Liverpool fans and then the curse crushes them the following week!
