A Stadium of Light stalemate brings the day’s proceedings to a close as Liverpool’s dominance fails to deliver a much-needed three points for Brendan Rodgers. Here’s part two of the Stock Check…

On the Up

Steven Fletcher
Three efforts on goal, all converted. Martin O’Neill’s money looks well spent as the former Wolves man proves that, if you can keep him fed, he will deliver top flight goals. Only the Berbatov bandwagon will tame interest in Fletcher over the next few weeks.

Luis Suarez
The Uruguayan still commands over 9% ownership in the Fantasy Premier League game and this evening’s goal, on a day when the other big players faltered, will provide great comfort for those who have kept faith.

Raheem Sterling
Outstanding again on the Liverpool right flank, capped by an assist, the young winger looks to be cementing a starting role and, with a rock bottom price tag, will surely begin to harvest further Fantasy owners in the coming weeks.

Glen Johnson
Shifted to the left-back role, Johnson pushed on as Luis Suarez tucked inside and was a constant attacking threat. If Liverpool can start delivering clean sheets, Johnson could shape up to be a useful differential punt.

Going Down

Carlos Cuellar
The most popular option in the Black Cats’ defence was subbed at half-time with a reported hamstring injury. We await the prognosis. A spell on the sidelines would be a concern, particularly with Martin O’Neill’s defensive options likely to increase with the return of Phil Bardsley and Wes Brown.

Steven Gerrard
Deployed in a deeper role, Gerrard saw a lot of the ball but not in areas that can deliver Fantasy returns. Gerrard, along with David Silva and Gareth Bale, has failed to deliver on his price tag thus far and today’s showing provided little encouragement.

Mark Mark created the beast. He's now looking to tame it.

Ok, this is what I have come down to

    1. DDG / Fed - no need to panic there, Fed has okayish fixtures so he's not too bad backup. Losing money tough 🙁

    2. Cuellar - no need to panic there either. Getting rid when it's possible.

    3. Kagawa - he's a big worry, but atm I'm thinking to keep him instead of Graham. Don't want to take a hit to get Ben Afra to his place.

    4. Graham - I'd really like to give him next four games, but Berbas price is going to rocket a'la Ba & Cisse last year, it's time to jump in!

What do you guys think, making any sense?
