We’re treated to no fewer than eight Premier League games today, as an unpredictable Gameweek six gets underway. The Dugout Discussion opens for the first game of the day – a tasty encounter at the Emirates between title hopefuls Chelsea and Arsenal. Both sides will be looking to inflict a first league defeat on the opposition, and these are the line-ups charged with that task…

Arsenal XI: Mannone, Jenkinson, Kosielny, Vermaelen , Gibbs, Diaby, Arteta, Cazorla, Ramsey, Podolski, Gervinho.

Chelsea XI: Cech, Ivanovic, Cole, Luiz, Terry, Ramires, Mikel, Mata, Oscar, Hazard, Torres.

The visitors make one change from the side that saw off Stoke last week, as skipper John Terry replaces Gary Cahill. Arsenal also make the single change, which influential defender Thomas Vermaelen coming in for Per Mertesacker.

Once proceedings at the Emirates has concluded, we turn our attention to the flurry of six 3pm kick-offs, before settling down for an evening at Old Trafford, where Manchester United welcome the visit of Tottenham Hotspur.

Follow all of today’s action as it unfolds in our Dugout discussion chatroom, which can be accessed right here.

So.... Gervinho, Torres, and Mata shone from the early game. Hazard might be allowed to leave.

Chelsea deserved to win, tore our defence to shreds. Really missed Diaby, we had no one to break up the Chelsea midfield three and our newly restored CB pairing were exposed. Pressing didn't work, they had acres of space to attack our center backs.

That said, we had plenty of chances, should have scored 3 and our movement was good - all this despite Cazorla and Ramsey having awful games. Get Ox on the right and Diaby / Wilshere in the centre and we'll be fine.

It looked like Diaby was taken off with extreme caution...he's always going to be that kind of player, the slightest niggle and he will be subbed, it's a pity because it might have just been a slight knock, but Wenger wouldn't risk it with Diaby's history.

Why do midfielders get more for scoring than strikers? The way most midfielders are deployed these days, it doesn't really make sense.

It's like strikers getting more for assists than midfielders.

They are further from the goalmouth and therefore on average less involved than strikers.

I see your point though. More midfielders should probably be classified as strikers.

I thought Nastasic came in for him. He's not on any team sheets I've seen.

Fulham tend to be solid at home. Don't be too expectant from a player who played a lot of minutes in the week.

It's Tevez. Scored points in every game he's started.

Tevez has had a number of days to recover.

Besides, 60 mins is enough time to do a lot of damage.
