Adel Taarabt
Back to fitness and back in favour, Taarabt found his way onto the R’s bench and entered the action to drag Mark Hughes’ side back into the game. His goal was sublime and unstoppable, his touch and creativity also eye-catching. If only he could cement a regular starting role, he’d be QPR’s one major Fantasy asset.

Andy Carroll
On the bench after recovering early from a hamstring injury, Carroll was introduced for Carlton Cole midway through the second half and, despite Cole’s work rate, the Geordie will surely replace him in the lineup when Arsenal pay visit this weekend. Kevin Nolan and company will be delighted. Arsene Wenger won’t be.

Ricardo Vaz Te
Those Fantasy managers searching for a budget option in attack could do well to consider the Portuguese striker who claimed his first goal of the season to accompany two assists so far. Yossi Benayoun will threaten his starting role but Vaz Te is doing enough to warrant his start right now.

Jussi Jaaskaleinen
Denied a clean sheet by Taarabt’s wonder strike, the Finnish stopper nonetheless impressed with a string of saves to offer a reminder as to his value in the budget keeper bracket.

Going Down

Winston Reid
Forced off in the first-half, the Kiwi defender suffered concussion and could therefore be a doubt for the weekend. West Ham have an able replacement in James Tomkins and Reid’s growing Fantasy ownership (12.5% in the FPL) will be monitoring news from the Hammers camp with interest. A clean sheet against the Gunners would seem unlikely but Tomkins will be looking to make a firm claim for a starting role if he’s given the opportunity.

Mark Noble
His performances are strong but his Fantasy returns are lacking. Noble’s reliance on set-pieces has yet to pay dividends and patience appears to be wearing thin. With the likes of Raheem Sterling offering a decent prospect in the budget bracket, Noble’s ownership continues to diminish.

Mark Mark created the beast. He's now looking to tame it.

      Basically the same set up as mine. So I like it. Certainly wouldn't have hazard in there, unless it is just for one game.

      When i looked at walters, he fit in with the rotation so i would only play him home games. Should work for you too.

    Hi all how are we?

    Ive already made 3 transfers thus far and Im thinking of a fourth. RvP to Torres. Before you tell me its absolutely ludicrous that Im considering taking a 12pt hit, tell me if it would still ebd up better off overall. I took an 8pt hit to captain Suarez last time and everyone said it sounded crazy. Could someone be honest and give a proper reply.

I wouldn't say that my team is in shambles, but I've played around to see if I could fit in the players that I do want right now and it fits perfectly at this time and would hate to miss out on it.     Six transfers that would otherwise cost me 20 points. If I was to stagger my transfers over a number of weeks, how would you prioritise them? I'm thinking maybe Aguero and Mata for RVP and Fellaini for a 4 pt hit first up.

      Don't do it...

      Michu can go after GW8, he has two brilliant fixtures coming up... Fellaini has great fixtures right through until GW14, the Sahin move seems a little knee-jerky... and Puncheon isn't even guaranteed game time now...

      Jaask has 4 home games in the next 6, so you don't need another keeper right now...

      I would hold until at least after the International Break, at least until after this weekend's games if you can't hold any longer to take advantage of the longer break...

        Fair enough, but I do tip Sahin to do well. It would be knee-jerky if he was an ordinary player, but he's a class act. He was the best player in the Bundesliga a couple of seasons back before Madrid had to come in and waste his talent (although he's even better for the experience).

            i shld take a hit last week but i hold and it cost me almost 30pts (sahin & ba)..so this week i'll take the risk (something like i trust the instinct more).

            think i'd go for bale..and aguero as vc. i dont know really, all the previous 6 games, i chose the wrong captain.

            u're not planning to make any changes?

            the 3 transfer made brings me happy feelings..but this one (rvp>aguero) doesn't feel like it..*sigh*
