Junior Hoilett
Such a bright spark in Blackburn’s relegation season, Hoilett has struggled to cement a starting role in Mark Hughes’ new look outfit. The Canadian showed up today, however, firing the R’s in front via a Leighton Baines deflection and putting in a decent shift. Hoilett, offers an option in the R’s midfield, although if you’re looking to gamble on such a punt, Adel Taarabt is cheaper and arguably more potent.

Steven Pienaar
Everton’s playmaker was harshly dismissed for two bookable offences – the second challenge looking innocuous to say the least. Pienaar is now set to serve a one-match ban that will see him sit out the Merseyside derby in Gameweek 9.

Anton Ferdinand
Dropped to the bench with Mark Hughes electing to start Ryan Nelsen and Stephane Mbia in central defence, Ferdinand’s starting role could now be at risk. Significantly, Nelsen has started the last six league outings for the R’s and is amongst the 4.0 defenders on offer in the FPL. Nelsen was withdrawn late on with cramp.

Whoo hoo...73 points...that'll do...Keep looking at this Stoke/Man United run coming up....and i can't think of a single reason why i shouldn't ditch my entire attack for a RVP/Rooney double up and Crouch...and good for about five weeks...serious thinning of midfield to do it though...Hazard>Michu...can't be that bad...

    Yeah....I would worry about CL normally but actually unlike city who will have to rest the best for some tough CL's games i think United are the other way around...A win this week in CL will see them virtually through in an easy group hence i'm sure Fergie will play RVP and Rooney in the Prem for maximum points and goals on that nice little run...and it's not even like they are playing in the same position really...
