Despite the playful twitter tamperings of Gary Lineker, Robin Van Persie takes his place in an unchanged and attacking United lineup for today’s early kick-off against Arsenal. The Dutchman starts, then, and wears the Fantasy armband for many as he faces his former club for the first time.

The lineups from Old Trafford are predictable. Both sides remain unchanged with Sir Alex Ferguson keeping faith with Ashley Young on the flank, opting to keep Javier Hernandez in reserve, with Danny Welbeck out of the squad. As for Arsenal, they keep Theo Walcott on the leash as they put out the starting XI that struggled to break down QPR last weekend.

Arsenal: Mannone, Sagna, Mertesacker, Vermaelen, Santos, Arteta, Ramsey, Wilshere, Cazorla, Podolski, Giroud

    that's the difference between Ferguson and Wenger, cleverly and wilshere but up for this game bigtime and putting in tackles everywhere, some a bit wreckless, both get booked.

    Ferguson realises in this type of game that Cleverly could get another yellow quite easily and get sent off so he sub's him, what does wenger do with wilshere, nothing and he get's sent off
