A perfect set-piece routine that had Gary Neville purring set the Potters on their way, only for West Ham to find an unlikely source for their equaliser. Here’s the Stock Check following tonight’s muscular affair at Upton Park…

On the Up

Joey O’Brien
The former Bolton man struck his first Premier League goal to bring the Hammers back on terms as Big Sam’s men rallied for the second period. O’Brien once again lined up at right-back, leaving a fit-again Guy Demel stranded on the bench. The 4.0 prospect has started the last three league outings, earned an assist in Gameweek 11 and is now ranked second amongst West Ham’s defenders in the Fantasy Premier League (FPL) game. With bonus to follow, O’Brien is set to earn new suitors, although West Ham’s short-term fixtures remain a concern.

Jon Walters
A superbly worked goal reminded us of the quality that Walters has in his game but this was only his second strike of the season. Even as a 6.3 midfielder in the FPL, pushed up alongside Peter Crouch in attack, he’s been overshadowed by a gang of similar mid-price talent this term, not least Kevin Nolan in opposition tonight.

Going Down

Guy Demel and James Collins
Both have returned to fitness but have been kept on the bench for two consecutive matches by the Hammers. It seems that Collins faces a fight to earn a recall alongside Winston Reid as James Tomkins stakes his claim for regular starts. As for Demel, his prospects took a bigger dent has Joey O’Brien impressed again in the right-back berth.

Mark Noble
The booking tonight took him to four for the season, lifting him onto Anorak’s “Suspension Tightrope” and leaving him just one yellow from a one-match ban. Noble is owned by over 5% of the FPL player base.

Andy Wilkinson
The make-shift left-back limped off after 32 minutes after picking up an injury and will now presumably be an early doubt for the home clash with Fulham.

Mark Mark created the beast. He's now looking to tame it.

    Cazorla + Hazard + Ba --> Walcott + Silva + Suarez
This transfer would allow me to downgrade Baines and upgrade Lambert next week to Enrique+Berba.

OR maybe transfer out Foster --> Mignolet this week and Baines + Lambert --> Enrique + Giroud for no hits.

Tempting isn't it? With home fixtures of WBA, QPR, REA and away fixtures to nor and che, lets say he gets 3pt (app + cs) at home and 2pt away + 2 assists, that's'17pts. Meaning that fell ness to avg 6pt per game to break even, although fell on his day can easily get double figures lol

Thinking about my front 8. I want to cover United City Chelsea, maybe Arsenal Tottenham and Liverpool, and I like Michu Fellaini and Berb.

question 1. Is it mad not to have a budget option and go with strength through top 8?

LB, was played wide left at the last minute against Wigan. Take in mind they were at home and Wigan were poor before you get blinded by one match of great points.

Not sure. Maybe giggs did his hip in training or scholes has pulled half his muscles in training. Or maybe Nolan just needs a week off

Assuming you want to keep Baines this week; Ba and Pienaar are the ones I'd be looking to shift. Maybe Suarez and a cheapie?

Thinking the boring Morrison to Puncheon this week then get rid of the EVE boys plus 1 more perhaps for a hit.

I'm holding Morrison for now, think he's one of the best value midfielders. I'd downgrade Nolan first with the fixtures he has coming up.

Also he might be an injury risk. Similar injury to the one when he missed a game. Waiting for more news.

upgrade a mid preferably, still feel fellaini at his price can give you a solid player with no need to rotate on bench

Looks very good. No real need to change. Wisdom is not nailed on in the long term you would imagine. Pienaar's form is a slight concern. Perhaps swap to Felliani after his ban.

I know it's borderline blasphemy in these parts, but maybe Berbs to Lambert? Or Nolan to Maloney? It would give you the cash to move Ba to Suarez/Tevez after he bags a hattrick against Southampton.

Alright Hangeland out for Cuellar, sorted. Pissed I missed the Hangeland price drop >:(

Ivanovic is annoying me in my team I'm thinking Rafael or Enrique in for a -4

Any stats fellos got a comparison on the two!?

Rafael form has been top draw. Enrique has been injured for most of the start to the season. Since he has come back he has been very impressive. Both players carry a goal threat. However Enrique is cheaper and strangely i think Liverpool are more likely to keep clean sheets than man u.

Both players are worth having though

fancy Mufc's fixtures more though.. but it's a bit leaky at the minute

    G'night fantasy junkies!

Quick question fantasy junkies: Zoltan Gera, how assured is his place in the Albion midfield? As far as I know he was covering for some injury in the CDM.

    Anyone?

Is switching Ba > Tevez a worthwhile transfer worthy of a hit and losing Jaask or Begovic?

    Jaask/Begovic
    Rafael/Sagna/Cameron/McCartney/Gorkss
    Silva/Mata/Cazorla/Fellaini/Sterling
    RVP/Ba/Berb
