A Gameweek tainted by no less than three 0-0 stalemates still saw several protagonists produce strong statistical shifts. Jordi Gomez and Stephane Sessegnon led the way in our ICT Index rankings and are amongst the players picked out in this week’s Big Numbers, our summary of some of the key stats on show from the weekend’s action…

Any other opinions? PS3 (or xbox) fans, yes or no on buying the following:

The status page should have a new feature, 'FPL accounts deleted/FPL suicides this week*'
*A suicide is anything over a 16 point hitOpen Controls -
Baines and Tevez or Enrique and Suarez? Which two would you go for?
Open Controls -
Value question: Is Gaston worth the extra cash comparing to Punch ?
Open Controls-
I don't think so, no. Lallana Ramirez and Pucheon are so fluid and inter-changing meaning they will all get similar chances imo. Ramirez takes some fks though.
Open Controls -
honestly i think gaston is class puncheon is a good player but gaston plays in the hole more likely for goals and assists but i may be wrong too
Open Controls-
Yeah he played second striker practically today...if that continues he's a winner
Open Controls
-
-
i don't think so while his ptch time looks limited due to coming back from injury. Gaston way well pull away after 3-4 weeks though.
Open Controls

Was this the most collectively bad GW in FPL history?
Open Controls-
Nope, that will have been one of the snowed off ones. Only one or two games went ahead once.
Open Controls -
Nah, some snow-weeks can see averages well down into single figures.

Berba -> Fletcher done!
I'll probably end up regretting it but ya have to roll the dice sometimes in this game..Open Controls-
Strongly considering doing the same. What convinced you?
Open Controls-
Fixtures plus double game week.....Plus Fulham are utter pish away from home
Open Controls -
Its just basically the fixtures. I wanted to be able to captain a dgwk player so Fletcher with his goal record is the man I chose 🙂
Berba is dropping tonight & Fletcher is rising so it shouldn't be too hard to do Fletch -> Berba in a few weeks if need be..Open Controls-
Why not just wait until the DGW? You'd be able to afford it then. In the meantime, you'll have Fletcher facing a QPR buoyed by Harry and a resilient Norwich defence.
Open Controls

don't do it, berbs is class, fletcher is Scotish! 😉

im starting puncheon over ba this week. he looked dangerous and newcastle look toothless
Open Controls-
The very article that you're posting on suggests that Ba has some good goal threat still, despite the poor form. Guess you'll need to be a member to see how much though.
Open Controls-
i am a member. this article doesnt mention ba. it mentions newcastles lack to attack. where are you reading this

Will McCarthy replace Fed when he's back fit? I'm hoping so, bur can't see it...

Help
A) Long and Wallcot/Mata
or
B) Tevez and Morrison
ThnxOpen Controls -
Thinking about a wildcard....
what do you think?
Begovic Tremmel
Enrique Morrison Garrido O'Brien JEvans
Sessegnon Bale Silva Fellaini Fetcher/Gomez
Suarez Fletcher AgueroOpen Controls -
Benching Berba over Morrison, Puncheon and Santi seem reasonable?
Open Controls -
Who to captain ?
a) Suarez
b) Ba
c) Fellani
d) Hazard
e) Cazorla
Any advice is appreciated 🙂Open Controls -
2FT
Pienaar -> Puncheon
Ba -> Suarez
My seasons going down the pan. Fast. :Open Controls-
Would always advise against getting Suarez on 4 bookings. It's such a difficult one when he's playing so well, but Ba garunteed to keep playing for a while is good enough I think,
Open Controls-
Yeah Ba could perform, just that Toon look so dire at the moment, and Stoke away is not the place for them to regain their winning ways. I think I might do it, my rank sucks, nowt to lose!

If you are leading your mini league by say, 40ish points, do you think a 12 pt hit to sort out your team for the upcoming weeks could work? I am not going to do it, just curious if anyone has had a similar tactic?
Open Controls-
No and no.
Open Controls -
Why not? It would still put you 28ish points in front but with a much better team...
Open Controls-
My thoughts aswell. I think it probably would work out.
Open Controls
-
-
No need to be so philosophical about it. Horses for courses.
I tend to think good managers don't take hits, partly because they have patience and also because they're less likely to end up in a mess.
An injury crisis has to be very bad before an 8 point hit is a necessity,Open Controls

Neither. But B is the better option. Still not convinced by Sunderland.
Open Controls

Puncheon or Lallana?

I'd be rotating with Sterling.

Jussi bego
Rafael demel baines Davies shorey
Puncheon cazorla Silva Morrison bale
Rvp ba berba
0.4m in bank
Gw14- baines to Enrique
Gw 15- Morrison to sess
Gw16/17- ba to long
Gw18- sess to mata
Just a rough plan...look ok?
Keep baines over Enrique and do baines and Morrison to Enrique and sess in gw15?Open Controls -
If I'm planning on getting Suarez in after his ban, should I sell Sterling? If I did I'd probably get Puncheon or Frei for flair.
Open Controls -
advice would be appreciated! 3.4 in bank but want demel out, ba out, silva in, enrique in, and suarez in.
what order you think i should do the transfers in?? worried about the suarez suspension but ba is on poor form and has stoke away so another 2 likelyOpen Controls-
He got a hat trick there last year...

Not done that great the last couple of weeks, so just looking for a bit of advice on how to improve this lot. GW14, I have 1 FT and 0.9 in the bank.
Schwarzer, Jaaskalinen
Baines, Nelsen, McCartney, Wilkinson, Cuellar
Cazorla, Nolan, Sterling, Hazard, Fellaini
Ba, RVP, Crouch
Thanks in advance!Open Controls-
Have you captained RVP the last 3 weeks?
Open Controls-
Not all three, no. Two of them, yes, definately.
Open Controls-
A lot of people have suffered with his mini drought, wont be long before he is banging them in again. I like your midfield, im sure you have heard it before but have you thought of getting rid of baines and spreading the funds around?
Open Controls-
Thanks! Could be a good idea that, with Everton leaking goals at the moment and whatnot. Who would you suggest as a potential replacement for Baines?
Open Controls-
Stoke have looked good at the back, Kompany is always going to play for city and now that rafa is at chelsea i can see them keeping more clean sheets and finally United, Evans is back now and he is a bargain!!

Who is expected to rise and fall tonight?
Open Controls-
RonH's penis.
Open Controls

I doubt there has ever been a time in FPL when a team's front 3 is compromised of a DF, MF and a Striker. That is now the case at Liverpool. Quite astonishing.
Open Controls-
-
why wouldn't he? I think he is nailed on for the 3rd forward spot
Open Controls -
Don't think so. Players like Suso and Assadi haven't had a fair crack of the whip yet in my opinion.
Open Controls-
enrique looks 10 times more threatening than either of those. Enrique will keep his place
Open Controls

comprised* damn autocorrect
Open Controls -
Bertrand, Hazard and Torres?
Open Controls
-
-
Who to start? Punchy with NOR or Sterling with tot? Team linked if needed 🙂
Open Controls -
Pick one to start out of Cuellar, Sterling, Berbatov. Simpson
Open Controls-
-
hmm. Normally I would play Cuellar, but Sunderlland look like they're going more attacking at the moment and conceding more as a result. QPR could be reguvinated under Redknapp. I'm thinking Tottenhams defence is worse than Chelsea's, so maybe Sterling. But Berbatov could always work his magic.
