Just as Paddy drew level, our treble came in. A goal for Luis Suarez, coupled with an assist for David Silva and a City clean sheet in the win over Villa handed us another timely windfall and put us back in the black. Our bookmaker friends in retreat, we missed out on the Flutter last weekend but it returns for the midweek menu, with Paddy looking to prise back our winnings…

First up for Wednesday’s matches, we look to a name that’s been circulating the community for the last 48-hours: Southampton’s Gaston Ramirez. He’s on many a wishlist following a goal and assist return against Newcastle, and we’re willing to back his form with a few quid. Paddy are dangling 15/2 on another Ramirez goal against Norwich, packaged with a second consecutive Southampton cleanie. Ramirez is in fashion and even the Saints back four are playing with some confidence. We’ll take Paddy’s offer for £2 of our tenner.

Sunderland’s Stephane Sessegnon is another name garnering attention following the weekend events. A potential template breaker in midfield, Sessegnon is showing glimpses of last season’s form just in time for the Black Cats’ double fixture in Gameweek 16. After a goal and assist return in the damaging defeat to West Brom, can Sessegnon find the net when Harry’s boys visit the North-East? Paddy are offering 6/1 on a Sessegnon goal with a Sunderland shut-out against QPR. Again, we’ll chuck a couple of quid at this, with Sessegnon there or thereabouts for the Picks for the Gameweek.

Villa’s Christian Benteke is another player we’ve got a lot of time for: he’s proved integral to Villa’s threat in recent weeks and is certain to trouble Reading’s faltering back line tomorrow evening. Paul Lambert’s side are far from prolific, but we fancy them to break the shackles against the Royals and, with Paddy offering 4/1 on a Benteke goal with a Villa clean sheet, we’ll take that for £3 of our hard earned.

That leaves a handsome £3 left for the treble – having won out on this the last time around, we’re going into this one with confidence. Paddy have 10/1 on a Robin Van Persie goal against West Ham, a Juan Mata assist when Chelsea face Fulham and a Stoke clean sheet against the wounded Magpies.

If you’re new to Paddy Power, then you can take up any of these odds and get yourself a bonus. You can sign up via this site and get a free £20 when you register an account and bet a tenner.

Finally of course, we should state that all these offers are only available to those aged 18 and over and are subject to Paddy Power’s terms and conditions. Also, if you’re going to bet, always gamble responsibly.

        I currently have it the other way. Gonna be a tough decision. Can see Chelsea keeping it tight at the back, and providing Aguero starts think he could have a big game.

        Morrison still created 3 goal scoring opportunities last game even from deeper.

          Chelsea vs Fulham = derby. Rules change but I see your point. I'll probably bench Morrison again depending on Mulumbu. Benching Berb is harder due to ownership.

    Think I'm going to hold off knee-jerking and save my FT. I'm playing really conservatively thus far and I just can't help but keep saving my 2FT. I'm just going to bench Nolan and see how the games go. This might change tomorrow night if I get a last minute epiphany but at the moment I feel like waiting to see what happens in the games for more information.

    I think I'm going to play Sterling against Spurs. Liverpool created a lot of chances against Swansea and were unlucky not to score. I don't see them going 2 games in a row without scoring if they keep playing the way they are. And Sterling looked as threatening as anyone.

    Really reluctant too to switch Ba or Berbatov at present because while their teams are in a slump of form, they are still as likely to do well over the next 2 as any of the other candidates. Such is their involvement in their teams attack.

            Sure, but after Sterling's displays in the last 2 matches I sense he is very involved in the attack and he already got 2 assists on the road.

            You really think Nolan is 100% the one to play?

                Of course, I agree. My hunch says Sterling this week as I think West Ham will find it difficult. Nolan might pop up with a tap in but I'm willing to take the risk for what is arguably one of the hardest fixtures for any player over the season.

      Decently set up there. Suppose you'll want to get shot of Demel soon. Hazard > Bale might be a good idea in the coming weeks. Definitely looking fine to save the transfer if you're so inclined.

        I keep holding on to Eden like a drowning man to a raft.

        I think I will switch Tevez to Aguero eventually that's why I am inclined to keep the FT.

        I know the issue with Demel but feels like a waste of a FT at this stage.

        Cheers, Unreal.

        P.S. I have been the most unlucky Cazorla owner all year...this time I am determined to stick with him.

    Bego
    Sagna, Rafael, Cameron
    Mata, Bale, Fellaini, Walcott
    Ba, RVP, Tevez
    bench: Jaask, Sterling, Gorkss, Demel 1FT

    this is my plan for the next GW's
    GW14 Ba-->Benteke
    GW15 Demel-->B.Jones
    GW16 Benteke-->Berbatov
    any advice or opinion would be helpfull cheers

    What you think of this lot, what to do with 2 frees for next week?
    Begovic
    Cuellar Cameron Gallas
    Mata Silva Bale Fellaini
    Rvp Tevez Berbatov
    McCarthy – Sterling McCartney Nelsen.
    Was thinking gallas and tevez out for Enrique and giroud...

      I'd get rid of Gallas. I'd keep Tevez for this week as he is due to start. This way you can have 2 FT so you can move Tevez next week.

      Midfield looks tasty.

      Gallas >> Sagna or Gibbs?

    Looking at the average position maps from the weekend...Hazard, Sterling, and Michu had their furthest back position of the season...not boding well for my midfield!

        Arsenal had an abysmal performance. I really think the rain affected a lot of the games this weekend gone. Arsenal will definitely up their game for the next two. They couldn't possibly be any more sluggish than they were.

        If I remember correctly Arsenal had 1 shot on target all game. They were barely getting chances inside the box and the crossing was awful. Giroud had a particularly poor game. Perhaps it was CL fatigue.

        Anyway, I wouldn't be massively worried about Cazorla's Penalty box touches as he usually does things around the box that are effective (that's me looking on the brightside!)

      Yeah hazard has come to a standstill aside from the goal against brom. I like the look of Ramirez and I'm intrigued by the Enrique option.

        Yes, and that was a header! I think it's just a temporary drop in form...but with so many cheaper options, I hear you.

        Ramirez stats last game were so juicy. I don't know how much of that is down to a woeful Magpies side.

    With Cattermole out for tonights game, is there a risk that Sessegnon will player deeper. Not spreading rumours just don't have a clue, and want to know if I should do:

    Nolan to Sessegnon?

    2 FT and .8 in the bank allows:

    Baines to Enrique
    Berbatov to Tevez

    Leaving me with

    Foster (Feder)
    Rafael,Clark,Enrique (Fonte, Nelson)
    Bale, Cazorla, Michu,Pienaar,Sterling
    RVP, Tevez(c) (Kone)

    Cant get any worse than it has been. .1 left
