The draw for the first round of the 2019/20 FFS Cup FFS Cup

For those Fantasy managers who took part in last weekend’s Fantasy Football Scout Paddy Power Cup VII Third Round, a link to the results can be found here.

This includes the exit of Mark, whose dreams of silverware ended after he lost out in a duel with The Shadow. World number three Iyad Zahlan is the highest ranked remaining Fantasy manager left – he scraped through 36-34 last time out in what was a low scoring round for many.

A quick heads-up for the 128 who have made it through this far. The next round will be played this weekend (Gameweek 15). The upcoming Gameweek 14 round of fixtures which starts this evening will not contribute towards your chances of Scout Cup progress. We are currently sorting the draw for the next round behind the scenes and will roll this out on Thursday morning.

Paul Is certain he won't make the same mistakes next season. Follow them on Twitter

If you needed a Norwich defender for 4.3 and below just for GW 15 and 17 who would you go for(more nailed on)? Turner out for a few weeks so whittaker and martins looked nailed on till GW 16 atleast.. GW 17 is my worry

In whoscored.com preview of Norwich match they say Barnett should start instead of injured Turner. How accurate is this given he has not played for the last several GW's and is now 3.9m in FPL.

Tinkering how I'll play my transfers for next two gw's, so what do you think which combo is more lethal 🙂
Just look those players/gw's that is mentioned.

    a) gw14 berba + gw15 walcott + wisdom
    b) gw14 sess + gw15 sess + enrique

I was thinking b), but not would be sooo nice to have walcott already in gw15.
Altough taking sess in now, I can prob make some money and he's safer bet for this gw than berba.

Ok, making the decision on the fact the Mert will take care of Fellaini and Sagna is the better player. Norwich scored a goal against United and Everton.

Bad team on paper GW14. All decisions made.

    Begovic
    Rafael Baines Sagna
    Michu Mata Walcott Sess(vc)
    RVP(c) Suarez Berbatov

    McCarthy Sterling Clyne Gorkss

Saving the FT first time this season and can't wait to buy Bale 😀

    Good luck lads!

NOT FPL RELATED, OVERLOOK IF THIS ANNOYS YOU

I saw there was some discussions on the Mayans. I just wanted to say the leap year thing is a myth.

Mayans actually had three calendars: one that was essentially a solar calendar, another that was a religious calendar, and a third calendar that was used for keeping historical records. This third calendar is the only one that's relevant to your question, because this is the one that some people are using to predict the end of the universe. They tracked days in cycles of 20, 360, 7200, 144000, 2880000, etc.

We're coming to the end of one of the 144,000 day cycles. The concept of leap-years is irrelevant to this calendar system, because it's not based on solar years, simply on pure math. I've got no opinion of whether the calculated date of Dec 12, 2012 as the end of the cycle is accurate. But if it is inaccurate, it's for reasons that have nothing to do with leap years.

Did the Mayans actually believe the world would end at the end of one of their cycles anyway? I see a lot of people pointing to the calendar but not making that final link explicit.

Anyway, I might as well be blunt and say with no mechanism proposed by which the world would end (apart from nonsense about "crossing the galactic plane") it remains amusing but nonsensical.

Actually when all the planets align there is a significant change in gravity, it is immensely powerful. If this does cause a pole shift on the earth. we will all die.

Well, apparently it's just a new age, the start of a new calender, not the end of the world. It's supposed to be a joyous event. It's cyclical this is not the 1st time it has happened, (5th time actually according to the Mayan elders)

Depends on how you team is structured. If you've gone uber in attack, i'm sure you have room for Ramirez as a 'play every game' midfielder. If you haven't, then Puncheon is probably best so you can save the 'play-every-game' slots to the Bale/Mata/Fellaini/Michu/Silva's of the game.

Mine is not very balanced. 3-4-3 with Baines as defender and Fellaini as the most defensive midfielder don't bode good CS-wise. Baines and Bale make a good-looking left side, though.
