We’re down to the last 128 as the Fantasy Football Scout Paddy Power VII reaches the fourth round this weekend. Mark’s conqueror, The Shadow, will be looking to progress at the hands of Donaldo, while world number three Iyad Zahlan faces a real fight against Bigo1, who sits 44th in the overall rankings.

We’re also keeping a close eye on donnellyc – the only previous winner left in the competition takes on davescold for a place in the fifth round.

If you’re still in with a chance of silverware, scroll down to see who you’re up against next.

Ties will be played out over Gameweek 15.

Could it be that now is the time to quit while were in head in terms of doubling up on Stoke and go back to just having one?

GW15-19 they have 3 away games in 5 and host decent attacking teams at the Britania. I'm not saying I don't fancy them to pick up clean sheets along the way, but their amazing run of SUN nor QPR whu FUL is over and one might just be enough.

I'm bringing in Enrique and I don't want to sell Ridgewell (Stoke, West Ham and Norwich at home plus QPR away in GW15-19) or Cuellar before the DGW. I have Begovic and Cameron so I'm considering Cameron > Enrique. And before anyone pipes up, no I'm not selling Baines 😉

Thoughts? Anyone in a similar situation?

Stoke are not the same team away from home and their home form will dip...they can hardly keep this CS form up forever. In fact I think Ba is going to smash their record into smithereens today.

      Oh and sell Baines

Yeah, I've no idea why it's only just occurred to me now to sell Cameron. It'll be sad to see him go, especially if they get a cleanie vs. Newcastle.

Also, I can always buy Cameron/Wilkinson back but not Baines!

I'm regretful I didn't double up on Stoke the last few weeks but at the same time...from looking at their results last year they do keep games low-scoring but it's not always CS heaven. I think these 1-0 and 0-0's are not going to last forever for Stoke. Especially as they don't keep the ball very well.

That's a good point. Still I think doubling up when they have away games is a poor move. Home games look bankers but surely it won't be 1-0 all season and the luck will run out a few times.

Not in similar situation, but I think it sounds good.

I can easily picture in a couple of GWs people starting to panic and wanting to drop doubled Stoke defence - to get on the road before the bandwagon starts up is always a good feeling. If you had Shwx or Huth who seem to return BPs and the odd goal it would be a harder sell maybe, but Cameron has always just been a cheap route into a back line that has a good chance of CSs.

I got rid of Tevez just before he got 19pts thinking it would be a masterstroke and everyone would be thinking I was some kind of seer. Stupid ill considered move. Blinded by hubris.

In my favour though I was very quick to drop Bale last year when he stopped scoring and it was fantastic watching everyone in ML hang on to him for weeks hoping he would pick up again.

Your move is a good one I think.

Agreed. I had to lose one of my defenders to get Enrique. My initial thought was that my Stoke defender was safe, but then checked the fixtures, and at least over the next 4 after tonight maybe, I dont see many clean sheets for Stoke. Ended up binning Wilkinson for him.

Keeping Shawcross for the season. Can't afford Huth, was planning to sell Howard and get Bego but think I'll likely get Jussi then that gives me West Ham, Stoke, Sunderland with three cheapies to rotate.

Unlikely I know, and I'm pushing the boat out here - I mean when was the last time this happened? - but I think RVP might have a tiny chance of starting tonight. Clearly United's main strikers are Hernandez and Welbeck and this young lad has many years to go before he can even be mentioned in the same breath as them, but I think SAF sees something in him.

it appears a clean sheet is worth little more than a block. so getting hit once by the ball is just as good as 90mins of keeping the ball out your net. i don't mind the new bp system but it really could do with tweaking.
      worth more: clean sheets, tackles
worth less: blocks, goals, shots on target, shots off target (less penalty)

Who should I get rid of in my defence for Enrique? I dont have any pressing transfers in my front eight, but am thinking if I did not ditch one of the cheapies, I would be forced to play Rafa Baines and Enrique every week. At some point I would probably need the extra cash aswell so thinking it has too be Rafael, with Smalling and Jones returning. Go for big three defenders? or ditch Rafael?
