Eight Premier League fixtures get underway at the DW Stadium where Wigan host an Arsenal side fresh from the thrashing of Wigan at the Madjeski. The Latics, with injuries biting, will be wary of an Arsene Wenger side armed with the pace of Theo Walcott up front, fed by Santi Cazorla’s midfield scheming. Fantasy managers, meanwhile, will be dreaming of even a fraction of the returns provided by the Gunners on Monday night.

As for Wigan, they have to patch up once more: Adrian Lopez is the latest defensive casualty so it looks as though Dave Jones will be deployed in defence today, with Shaun Maloney and Franco Di Santo returning to the starting lineup having been introduced from the bench in the defeat at Carrow Road. Jordi Gomez and our friend Mauro Boselli drop to the bench for the Latics.

    So Walcott will get his assist later right I assume?
    Hopefully some baps as well.

    I have Walcott & Demel (blank) and Rafael (injured).
    Planning to get Mata by GW 21 but might need to do for next GW.

    Should I do Walcott + Rafael -> Stam + Mata?

    I have no Chelsea coverage right now. and Mata will have his rise tomorrow.

    taking a hit is never a good idea for short term unless u need to get someone before they rise AND the player you are selling WILL drop.

    id rather 0 than take a hit on a player that ends up on 4pts (even 5) or anything less
