    I'm holding off any transfers so my rivals don't know I'm wildcarding but it's driving me nuts watching Dzeko's price and worrying that total fpl will foul it up

            Late last season I guessed rivals trades due to it & made FPL boring for me. Getting a surprise when GW updates & seeing what they did would make the game better.

                Made it abit hollow for me. One rival started trading 1 minute before deadline etc. I did the same of course but really wasn't fun. Glad no MLs this season.

    Haha. Took a look at no. 3 from the Hall of Fame. Turns out he got 70 pts in GW 17 and 18, before getting 81 pts in all three following gameweeks.

        I've had Begovic since the near the beginning... I would be buying Jaask with a view to playing him in the DGW and his favourable home matches where Begovic has tough away games...

        I'm slowly coming round to this as I think it's a bit silly to leave a non playing goalkeeper in a free WC... I think it's worth the extra million...

      I'd say very. Rafa said he has no idea when Terry will be back. So long as Cahill will be first choice cb while Luiz is playing in midfield and should play cb over Ivanovic if Luiz does drop back. Obviously I have no idea but that's what I think

    Worth a hit to bring in an Arsenal striker for GW23? Podolski or Giroud better, or you reckon Walcott will lead the line?

    Other than that I'm thinking
    Cuellar > Sagna, Bale > Walcott (will lose money on Bale though as I bought on 9.3)

      Don't like arsenal defence personally. They always concede and there strikers arnt worth it. Cazorla and Walcott probably the only 2 worth going for, or possibly Arteta if after a differential

        Depends what you bought them for really. If you got Michu late Fellaini might be better then consider Hernandez instead of Michu for a cost effective differential.

    Finally decided to hold off from the WC. Already have Ba, Puncheon, Walcott, Gibbs, O'Brian without hits. However I'm now considering Enrique -> Azpilicueta -4pts. Worth it you reckon? If not I'd have to play Cameron(CHE) & Gibbs(MCI) instead of having the choice. I believe Terry will be out for a while yet.

      Probably. Getting Enrique out is a bonus. 1 hit is admirable restraint in this atmosphere. The hive mind thinks Ivanovic is more likely to displace Cahill than Azpi if Terry comes back, anyway.

      Have Ba, Mata, Punch, Santi, Walcott and O'Brien half of whom probably would have gone in a WC before this DGW was announced. Thinking something similar, maybe Cuellar to Azpi for a hit. Think he's safe for another while especially with Luis in midfield.

    Assuming the best idea would be to load up on Chelsea for GW22 and load up on Arsenal for GW23 (worth taking a 4pt hit on each week to make 2 changes instead of only 1?)

    Not quite sure what changes to make yet.

    GW22: Enrique and Defoe -> Azpilicueta and Ba
    GW23: Cameron and Ba -> Gibbs and Podolski

      Depends what price you bought them for. I have both and if I were to WC I'd keep Michu simply because I don't want to lose the value I've gained on him. Fellaini can be bought back later for no cost as his price won't rise much due to the DGW madness.
