Seen as Arsenal have a double next week and Benitez's rotation & obsession with Torres, Walcott & Pobrebnyak(Bench) for Ba & Kacanklic(Bench)??

How did P. Cisse look against Norwich?

The rules should be tighter. Yes, it would benefit United, Arsenal, Tottenham and Liverpool, but it should!! They have a better moral standing with wages than City and Chelsea.
Open Controls-
can´t see that united have a better moral anything with, or regarding, anyone.
Open Controls-
Their wages aren't as relatively excessive. The way it should be to preserve the financial stability of all football clubs.

united are in huge debts.. stop being a manure blower

Thoughts on this wildcard? To be played after Arsenal / West Ham DGW.
Begovic, Jaaskelainen
Evans, Zabaleta, Martin, Wilson, Davies
Bale, Mata, Fellaini, Michu, Puncheon
van Persie, Sturridge, TevezOpen Controls-
Looks good though personally not a fan of spend big $$$ on a city striker if not assured of gametime.
May I ask why you're playing the wildcard after the two dgwks and not before? You could load up on dgwkers...Open Controls-
i find it easier to plan for doubles in advance then use a wildcard to put in place the team you want, other wise your stuck with a host of soton/ west ham/ arsenal players you dont want long term

Nice team.
Open Controls -
I might be tempted to look at Rooney/Aguero over RVP/Tevez, especially if Tevez continues to get rotated.
Open Controls -
Similar to the one I'm gonna have but I would do all you can to try and squeeze Aguero in there

The Bale vs Cazorla conundrum.
Since I'm on a WC, wouldn't it be prudent to just get Cazorla (along with Walcott and Gibbs), who'll have two bites and the pie and switch to Bale right after?
I need to do the transfer now to avoid Walcotts price rise, or I wont be able to get my WCT.Open Controls-
yes

A lot of poster earlier, advised me to stick to Bale.

Milanista, nice looking team for GW24 from previous page. I am going to go for something like that as well, perhaps, by downgrading Gibbs.

How much do you think Remy will cost if he joins Newcastle. Anyone rate him?
Open Controls-
i only realized today cisse is 8.8 😯 i would reckon 7.5/8m
Open Controls-
Same. Do you think Cisse will still play up front, or moved out wide again. thinking of getting one of them.
Open Controls

7m fwd at a guess. Not 100% convinced he'll succeed based on reading reports when Spurs were heavily linked with him but I think he'll fit their system and if he plays well it should get the best out of Cisse.

do we see any of the following rising any time soon
Bunn
Harte
Davies
Evans
Fabio
Aguero
Pog
All currently planned for the wc team, but have l literally no leeway on prices.Open Controls-
Not sure, but i'd be wary of Fabio, Traore will rival him for competition. Onuoha is more secured.
Open Controls-
might yet forget Aguero, am monitoring the Liverpool boys. If Ba looks like nailing down a spot then Mata could become Gerrard

Need a new cheap midfielder, due to a bad assesment of my budget on my wildcard. Up to 5.5 preferably dirt cheap. Need to bring him in this week or the next, need to play him on gw 23 and 25 at least. Current options are:
Maloney
Noble
Marveaux
Thoughts?Open Controls-
If Remy signs soon the Marv wagon will go.
Maloney is not a bad shout, Craig Gardner maybe?Open Controls -
Brunt! Takes all set pieces for west brom
Open Controls -
Read the article. Puncheon is king.

Noble IF fit

may as well get Noble for the double, or not sure how cheap joe cole is.

Walcott....go up if you must, but I will not buy you. There are many games to play this week. ANYTHING could yet happen
Both DGW teams have a game to play, which could go to extra time too?
RVP could get injured
Mata could get injured
Jussi could get sent off.
Roll on Wednesday night 11pmOpen Controls -
Sagna and Cazorla in
Luiz and Puncheon out
-4pts
Worth it?Open Controls -
okay guys, here's the team..
bego mcCarthy
bassong azpi davies o'brien shorey
mata michu walcott bale puncheon
ba RVP suarez
1 FT, 0.1 itb, WC available.
i'm all set to do azpi > gibbs (for now), do you think there's any transfer that is worth a 4pt hit for me?thinking:-
A) o'brien > demel
B) ba > pod
C) the unpopular bale > santiOpen Controls -
on the basis that money isn't a factor and that the incoming player is to be brought for at least a number of weeks, which player would people choose out of fellaini and michu
Open Controls -
Was just an off day for Suarez all round today I think. He was pretty awful all game.
Does anyone think Debuchy will be a good buy? I seem to remember him being a good cheap option in either the champs league oe europa league fantasy football. Had decent assists for a defender.Open Controls-
Don't tell Optimus, he hates good buys.

Sold Demba Ba after just putting him last week, needed funds for Walcott since his DGW, just think Ba is a bit of a liability when hes not guaranteed to play since Benitez rotates, plays 1 up top and is a fan of Torres & pressure from Ambromivch to play him
Open Controls-
Thanks for that

So, regarding wildcard strategy. I've kept my nerve and am clinging on til GW24/25. My objection to the power 5 so far has not been based on current performance but simply the risk of relying on michu and fellaini both to be firing to make it work (with basically no replacements at their price if they don't). The fellaini to Chelsea rumours are bugging me a little bit. However, if I get to GW25 with the wildcard and he is still with Everton when the transfer window closes I will likely go for a power 5 with Aguero and RVP up top.
If not, will probably go 4 mids with RVP Cisse Sturridge up top.
Will be looking for city (zabaleta) and united (rafael /evans) defensive cover in both.Open Controls-
This is my tactic also. If Fellaini stays, i don't think i can avoid the 'power 5' style!
Open Controls-
same here
Open Controls-
Oppa power 5 style!
Open Controls-
issue with me night be Aguero. I've mad a wc team with him in, but I have 0 leeway on price
Open Controls-
He'll keep falling Shirley?
Open Controls-
I would think so
players I need not to rise
Aguero
Bunn
Evans
Davies
Harte
Fabio/Onuoha
also with regard to the flexabilty issue, Aguero to a Studge/Fletcher type and an upgrade of Pog with whichever of the power 5 you need to lose. If you roll over 1 Ft every week, it can be done for -4Open Controls

interesting ideas. who would your 3rd forward be if you went with the power 5?
the problem i see is that michu hasn't scored in a few gw's now. and usually complain about not having enough striker spots to fit all the forwards we want so essentially reduing your number of striker spots will cause that problem. also it doesn't allow you to rotate between cheaper options that are in form and/or have good fixtures such as studge, fletcher, berb, ruiz, lambert, lukaku, etcOpen Controls-
Yep, I've become convinced flexibility is the hidden x factor in squads, very easily defined as how many replacements in the same price bracket do you have for your players? 3-5-2 reduces that considerably (michu, Fellaini, 11m+ forwards) but promises good points.
The cost is a 4 point hit to go from 3-5-2 to 3-4-3 though you will not necessarily get the players you would pick in a wc. That's a considerable cost and so I'm waiting as late as possible to commit to 3-5-2 to minimize risk.Open Controls

After Saints' decent result and both Manc teams winning I think Rafa will put out a decent teamsheet midweek. Somewhere near his best eleven.
Open Controls -
Pepin: did you see that RM tied again?? 18pt lead now 😀

Keep Ba or Defoe?
