With a goal from reliable Robin, an assist from Juan Mata and a clean sheet from Sunderland, we took Paddy Power for three crisp tenners last week as our weekly treble bet came in. Back in profit, can we maintain momentum with this week’s markets?

Determined to claw back our winnings, Paddy are dangling a very tempting proposition our way to open things up. With 13 goals to his name, Michu has been a sensation and, with Stoke at the Liberty this weekend, the Spaniard will be looking to add to their impressive first season tally. He’s gone three starts without a strike, while the Swans have conceded in their last three home matches. Even so, odds of 5/1 on a Michu goal with a Swansea clean sheet against the Potters look tasty and we’re willing to go gung-ho and throw no less than £4 the way of Paddy on this market.

Steven Gerrard found a place in our Scout Picks last night with Luis Suarez missing out. While Suarez seems to have hoodoo over the Canaries, we’re still backing Gerrard to get amongst the points have bagged returns in seven consecutive starts. Chris Hughton’s side have conceded in their last five away trips and we’re backing a home win with the skipper again getting in on the act. Paddy are dangling 4/1 on a Gerrard goal with a Liverpool clean sheet against Norwich and we’re more than happy to take them up on that for £2 of our money.

The final single player market involves City’s clash with an out-of-sorts Fulham. Although Edin Dzeko makes way for Sergio Aguero in our Scout Picks this week, the Bosnian has four goals in his last three league outings and looks primed to punish the Cottagers in today’s clash. Paddy are clearly backing City here, with just 2/1 on offer for a Dzeko goal with a City clean sheet. Nonetheless, we’ll throw them another £3 of our stake for this one.

That leaves just a solitary shekel for our treble market and, having triumphed last week, we’re perhaps hedging our bets somewhat this time around. A Van Persie goal against Spurs, together with a David Silva assist against Fulham and a Liverpool clean sheet is being offered at 10/1 by our bookmaker friends.

Register and Bet £10 And Get £20 Free

If you’re new to Paddy Power, then you can take up any of these odds and get yourself a bonus. You can sign up via this site and get a free £20 when you register an account and bet a tenner.

Finally of course, we should state that all these offers are only available to those aged 18 and over and are subject to Paddy Power’s terms and conditions. Also, if you’re going to bet, always gamble responsibly.

What you say...I have exactly 0.3m to do Berba->Sturr OR Dzeko for -4?

....or do I just play Punch and bench Berba?

You wanna ask me? Alright so this is my thinking. Giroud if he plays, will definitely play central. So Pod is most likely to give you 4-10 points over the DGW. Giroud in my opinion could clean up Newcastle though. His upside and Downside are more. He can get anywhere between 1-15 points imo.

If Podolski misses Chelsea, I can see Giroud starting both.

Giroud scored his debut goal and had an assist against Westham, would make sense to start him.

The greater the risk, the greater the reward. So Giroud bcz he'd be a huge differential + Would play central if starting( i would say he will start central bcz Wenger said that with him they seemed a more balanced side).

demel I guess. Or davies if you think West Ham will get atleast one cleanie.

      select one to play from

      michu(vs STK),davies (vs STK),benteke(vs WBA),Puncheon(vs EVE)

me edging towards Davies, but always the attacker over defender right ?

I think that's the reason why everyone here's gone the Podolski route, it's too hard to get rid of either of them. Not because they really have any belief in Podolski's potential, it's just so much easier to get him.

          Agree 100%

Although, Podolski is a slight doubt for the Chelsea game. Cannot cough up enough cash to get rid of Lambert for him

You know how when there’s a constant somewhat loud hum in the background, you eventually get used to it, and forget it. And then when it suddenly turns off, it’s an almost deafening silence?

Mata to Cazorla or Ba to Podolski/Giroud that is the question.

I think I am just gonna do Ba->Podolski, and Berbatov->Sturridge for -4 and hope for the best....It's way too hard to accomodate Cazorla.

      Pity I'm just 0.1 short of Mata->Cazorla and Berbatov->Sturridge....

I'd do Mata -> Cazorla. In fact I will if there's no relevant weather news.
