Starting the season priced at just 4.5 in Fantasy Premier League (FPL), Raheem Sterling quickly cemented his place in many a five man midfield thanks to a consistency of game time under new Liverpool boss Brendan Rodgers. Handed a first-team chance in Gameweek 2, the winger rose steadily in price to 5.7 as the bandwagon showed little sign of slowing down but a run of 16 consecutive starts was brought to an end in Gameweek 18, with Rodgers citing signs of fatigue in the youngster’s play:

      If Studge scores and Fletch fails, Studge may well be too pricey by gw26.

      It's a big "if" but something that worries me and I have 0.7 set aside for that transfer.

      Nas IMO - Lescott not really in form and Kolo still away.

      Richards and Maicon should both be fit soon so Zaba becomes risky.

    I have rechecked my WCT and I have to apologize to everyone... In my somewhat dizzy state of mind I mistook Suarez for Sturridge, which means that Chrissy Waddle is absolutely right... There is no way I could afford that team... The proper WCT is:

    Bunn - Mignolet
    Baines - Zabaleta - Azpilicueta - Davies - Pearce
    Michu - Puncheon - Mata - Walcott - Fellaini
    RVP - Sturridge (Not Suarez) - Aguero

          if Sturridge gets another rise, downgrade Puncheon. It's quite similar to mine, but you have a higher tv and so can afford Baines. Personally why not just get the 2 crappest defenders you can find, you're gonna be playing Zaba, Azpi and Baines every week, keep Pearce and just get Stam or someone

              of course it depends on where you'll spend the money. Personally I'm not convinced Baines is worth it, too much hassle, but if you have the cash.

      Wow. I was happy with my team but you've gone above and beyond. Pretty much th exact same as you other than where you've got Baines I've got Evra, you got Davies and ive got Clyne...and bunn vs cerny here.     Fwiw, I will own Mata, Fellaini and RVP. I think first option is better short term (Baines fixtures, Lamps currently looking nailed on). Current thinking is to start with 1) and transfer to 2) after 2 weeks with FTs. Any thoughts?

    What I'm considering ...

    I'm worried about not having Bale, of course I am. What I might do, is do Michu > Bale and Zaba > Distin to fund it. Everton have 2 nice home games, and then I can reassess in 2 weeks, perhaps downgrade the midfielder who isn't doing it for me, and get some City cover back in with my 2 FTs.

    How does that sound?

              They have class in Bent, Benteke, Weimann, Ireland, Given, N'zog... & Dunne. Warnock etc. can still do it if given the chance. I don't believe players go from good to bad overnight, Lambert just isn't doing it.

                Warnock they are trying to sell, Dunne is close to past it, N'Zog, Ireland are average. Weimann is decent, not great. Benteke is quality ripe for selling, Bent ain't happy there.

        they deserve it. when was the last time they actually did anything decent? they've gone stale just like newcastle, bolton, blackburn etc. they need a right ol' kick up the arse back into reality.

      84 points can be comfortably caught in 15 gameweeks. Don't panic and don't try and be different to your rival's team just yet. Pick the best team you can and the logical captain choice. Last ten weeks is where you need to try some braver captain choices and different players if you're still that far behind. He'll be more anxious to cover off your moves than you are chasing him.
