As we close on a century of episodes it was time to freshen things up and bring new voices to accompany my drone and that of grumpy Granville. In this weeks’ episode, we draft in both “Professor” Chris Atkinson and his “Rate My Team” computer, plus long-time community member and contributor, Jonty, for a new ScoutCast regular.

Don’t worry, the usual format remains intact although, having recorded this just minutes after last night’s whistles, Granville escapes the usual mini-league grilling. Not surprisingly, there’s plenty of “Granny’s miffed” to endure, plus “All Aboard” and the weekend preview. That’s’ rounded off by the “Full Jonty” a brand new feature that will bring you, the community, into our weekly ramblings.

      I think it's more useful to also look at the ratio of shots outside the box as a percentage of total shots conceded. It could be that the Sunderland defence is so tight that opposing teams are taking low probability, pot shots from outside the box? That would strengthen the case for a Sunderland defender/keeper.

Plan is to save next week, then sell Sturridge and Michu/Davies, then I will have 11 for GW 27, as well as 6 DGW players.
The only worry is no Mata, but don’t see a practical way.
Also wondering if I should get De Guzman over Michu?? Would allow me to upgrade Sturridge to somebody that costs around 10.

Thoughts please if you read all this.

On a WC and after looking possible GK combos...i have narrowed it to the following:
A: Chezny + Guzan....10m
B: DDG + fed...9.9m
C: Krul + Begovic ....10.5m
D: Guzan + Fed....9.1m
E: Cesar + Habsi...9.9m

  i've already told you that I really like it. unless you want studge + a stronger defense for the end of the season. but you'll have time to monitor studge vs suarez and how the big teams are doing defensively

    Those last 6 games include matches against City, Tottenham and Liverpool. But it's MON and he's usually good defensively. Also he gets loads of saves from those shots.

The general conceus was

Cesar
Zaba Azpi Johnson Wilson Pearce
and
RVP Aguero Sturridge.

Based on Johnson gonna offer more attacking returns than Onuoha.
and Aguero Sturridge because Tevez is not nailed on and Sturridge should perform similarly vs Suarez.

HOW ABOUT THIS THEN..

Reina
Zaba Demel Onuoha Wilson Pearce (1 Big hitter and 4 rotating cheapies)
and
RVP Aguero Suarez

BAM! 3 Big hitters up front.

What do you say? Or way too cheap at the back and making it unbalance?

It's really up to Sturridge vs Suarez really.
If Sturridge can get ~70% what Suarez is getting then I'll be okay with him and get better defense.
But Suarez' form is just crazy - making me wonder whether he can outscore Azpi's CS and Johnson's attacking return.
