With Gareth Bale and Michu tearing up defences and delivering big returns from Saturday’s matches, there’s much anticipation ahead of Sunday’s programme. While Aston Villa’s clash with West Ham seems likely to be an edgy battle of attrition, the Old Trafford clash between United and Everton looks to have a lot going for it. Sir Alex Ferguson’s teamsheet will be of keen interest in that one, while the Toffees will be looking to repeat last season’s thrilling 4-4 draw and perhaps keep the title race interesting.

The early team news is in and sees Paul Lambert make three changes to the Villa XI, with Nathan Baker, Fabian Delph and Jordan Bowery replacing Joe Bennett, Karim El Ahmadi and Gabby Agbonlahor.

For the Hammers, Joe Cole and Emanuel Pogatetz come in for Matt Jarvis and Ricardo Vaz Te; Guy Demel is on the bench.

    N'Zogbia is going to do for Villa what he used to do for Wigan, keep them up with end of season match winning performances.

    Ironically, it seems, the season he does it is likely to be the season Wigan finally do get relegated.

        Us, Wigan and Reading I think.

        Villa look like they will wiggle out of it.

        Wigan, I think, have tempted fate too many times. Reading just will lack that little bit of experience. QPR are just quite possibly, pound for pound, the worst team ever to play in the Prem. And it hurts me like hell to say that.

    Afternoon fella's any input would be GREATLY appreciated.

    I have Suarez, Davies, Michu and Sturridge and got all of them in early so have money invested in them.

    I also have Nasty and Demel who didn't play this week and Wilson who may not play.

    I'm thinking Sturridge and Demel for Lambert and Onuoha/Fabio?

    @granville Yes United mid are great during counterattacks, but it's sad to me that that by definition this means that their best chances are created by the folly of their opponents rather than by their own merits... I agree that possession football isn't the only way to go at it, but I believe you have the possibility of creating more chances for yourself this way...

      I'd suggest that possession football decreases the chances of the opposition, counter attacking football increases your chances.
