With Gareth Bale and Michu tearing up defences and delivering big returns from Saturday’s matches, there’s much anticipation ahead of Sunday’s programme. While Aston Villa’s clash with West Ham seems likely to be an edgy battle of attrition, the Old Trafford clash between United and Everton looks to have a lot going for it. Sir Alex Ferguson’s teamsheet will be of keen interest in that one, while the Toffees will be looking to repeat last season’s thrilling 4-4 draw and perhaps keep the title race interesting.

The early team news is in and sees Paul Lambert make three changes to the Villa XI, with Nathan Baker, Fabian Delph and Jordan Bowery replacing Joe Bennett, Karim El Ahmadi and Gabby Agbonlahor.

For the Hammers, Joe Cole and Emanuel Pogatetz come in for Matt Jarvis and Ricardo Vaz Te; Guy Demel is on the bench.

Our Dugout Discussion chatroom is now open to provide a backdrop to the day’s action.

Mark Mark created the beast. He's now looking to tame it.

Forgive me, but I want to persist in getting to the bottom of this logistical nightmare/ elephant in the room.

If I was to have Fellaini, Mata and Fellaini by GW29, I'd have no choice but to play 5-2-3 in all likelihood. Best case scenario providing that none of my other players have a blank as well.

Just a quick question on having a strong 8. Isn't it better to have someone like Lambert on the bench than a Pog type for the times you actually need him to come on? I know it'll suck alot those weeks you see nice points on your bench but if you were to downgrade him you wouldn't see those points anyway.

This is assuming your kinda happy with the rest of your team. I mean you could always have an Aguero type over someone like Sturridge but is that really an upgrade right now?

I'm gone with a strong midfield and Lambert as my third striker since the Jan wildcard and it has worked out so far. I've put Lambert on a few weeks from the off. It's a big call to dump one of them to the bench each week but it's a problem I'd rather have.

Big difference in price between those two though right? I'm a Pog owner, and believe me if I could afford to have Lambert on the bench most weeks instead then yeh, I definitely would. But if anything I'd upgrade DF & GK before upgrading Poggy

    Guys I'm really stuck.

    Bunn Boruc
    Zabaleta GJ Davies Onuoah Harte
    Bale Mata Wally Taarabt Maloney
    Sturridge Suarez RVP

    2ft. 0.1 in bank.

Plan was always Suarez-Aguero after dgw. But I just can't take the plunge on Aguero anymore. His, and Citeh's form just not good enough for me yet I prefer Suarez. I certainly want Sturridge in my team, think he's a bargain. I would be happy to keep the pair of them if there wasn't a blank this wee, and just do Suarez-Ag if he hits some form.

Thinking I might just do GJ-Sagna, Maloney-Sissoko and play 4-5-1 next week is that crazy? Or should I just get Studge/Suarez out for one week and lose value when I buy them back?
