With tomorrow night’s Upton Park clash to come, our ICT Index rankings are currently dominated by two Spanish playmakers as both Santi Cazorla and David Silva lead the way off the back of their match-winning contributions. With two-goal strikers Romelu Lukaku and Arouna Kone also pressing for recognition, our rankings reflect a Gameweek where the differential came good, leaving established Fantasy favourites falling short.

Our members can examine the numbers behind the Gameweek in full via the members area tables and match dashboards and, as always, we’ve picked out a selection of stats that have caught our eye…

        True. But i only started playing this game as a bet cos i knew nothing about football but a lot about statistics and figured i cud beat my football following friends.

        Looks like its gonna be a hattrick for me tho in fairness from not being able to even name a fpl player 3 years ago to now knowing what they eat for effin breakfast shows how addictive this game and indeed the sport is.

          Like what? For Swansea, Sigurdsson was central to everything, and was pretty much the only one getting attacking points every week. He was also shooting from long range every match. Newcastle isn't all Sissoko, Cisse/Gouffran have been rivalling him(although not as good yet), and there's HBA to come back. He's been doing more defensively too. Have to see in the next 2 games atleast if he can keep it up..!

            I'm not saying Sissoko = Siggy

            I'm just saying that he thus far fits the criteria as an equivalent...which is a high scoring midfielder who only joins in January and is consistently scoring points.

            Siggy got 7 goals and 5 assists

            Sissoko is on 3 goals and 2 assists. If he doubles that output he will have matched Siggy basically. And you wouldn't put that past him on current form.

    Even though I'm not going to be all knee jerky and say he's the saviour of FPL...the type of player I'm most worried about not owning right now is Sissoko because his ownership is ALL active players. And he's owned by so many that his success from now until the end of the season would actually hurt you badly. More so than say Ba at +20% ownership, someone like Sissoko at almost 10% ownership right now is purely active players. So there is a lot to fear from these differential bandwagons because they are actually not differentials but masses of people jumping on the recent success of a pretty viable alternative to the obvious 5 midfielders and like today proved...probably on to a winner.

    i went to the reading v wigan game yesterday - must say if wigan keep playing like this i cant see them going down. was really impressed by beasejour. di santo and kone link up play. Im pretty certain aswell reading will be relegated....best thing pogrebniyak did all game was get sent off - that three match ban will give reading a better chance when ALF starts lol
