Fantasy managers were handed a heads-up of a new double Gameweek afternoon after Arsenal’s home match with Everton, originally scheduled for Gameweek 29, was moved to Tuesday April 16, or Gameweek 33 to you and I.

The fixture change is due to Everton’s FA Cup progress at the expense of Oldham last night. The Toffees are now set to face Wigan in the Sixth Round a week on Saturday and with Arsenal facing Bayern Munich in the Champions League the following midweek, there was no room for manoeuvre within Gameweek 29.

While the rescheduled date means Arsenal definitely have a double, it’s not quite as straightforward for the Toffees. Everton have confirmed that if they beat Wigan in the cup, their Gameweek 33 tie hosting QPR will be postponed, as the semi-finals take place over that weekend. With the Arsenal game now set for the midweek slot in Gameweek 33 (it will be shifted to Wednesday April 17 if Everton win), this would mean a double Gameweek for the Gunners (NOR, EVE), a single for Everton (ars) and a blank for QPR.

Luckily, we only have until next weekend before the Everton-Wigan FA Cup clash but in the meantime, the double for Arsenal looks hugely favourable. Theo Walcott and Santi Cazorla will already be earmarked as potential captains – Walcott has produced three sets of double figures at the Emirates to Cazorla’s two and is likely to get the nod by many, despite being 10 points behind the Spaniard in the FPL standings. Having produced 30 points between them in Arsenal’s recent double Gameweek 23, their potential for points is obvious.

Why are people getting rid of RVP? Even if he has 2 blanks, he can sit on the bench.
For some it would cost 0.2 or 0.3 or even more to get him back in.
In my case, I will sell Aguero because it will cost me nothing.

Well if some are missing 2 strikers in GW29, I would rather sell the one who costs less so Aguero rather than RVP.
Tactic just needs to be adjusted for GW28... 343 to 352 / 442 to leave RVP on bench

At this stage in the season, team value doesn't matter. If you switch RVP for someone who scores 20 points in two weeks then that's well worth £0.3m

There's also the school of thought that if United go all the way in the CL, with the PL all but sewn up, RVP will miss more and more gametime.

Aguero might have a fixture, meaning if RVP doesn't, you could sell him for ANY striker and have an extra striker in your team for 2 weeks.

Correct, so Man City fixture has more probability to be kept on GW29 rather than Man U because of the TV thing.

Well Aguero's GW29 fixture is much more likely to be moved to midweek, and if it is then you would be shifting Aguero (avl WIG) instead of RVP who will probably be lucky to get 1 point in those 2 GW's.

      - No GW33 Double guarantee.

Not sure on Fellaini though, I don't think there's anyone better for the selling price I have and Michu isn't worth 1M extra. I want to get rid of Mata before Fellaini, but again I don't know who for.

I could probably get Michu but I don't think his fixtures are as good as they seem. After this week where I'd be keeping Fellaini regardless, he has 4 away out of 7 where Swansea have been rubbish lately, and home games against Spurs, Arsenal and Southampton, which aren't that bad I suppose.

Just worries me they have nothing to play for anymore.

So if Everton get through to the semi-finals, they won’t have a DGW, it’ll just be Arsenal?

But then they’ll have a DGW in a different GW.

Take out Cameron for Wilson, Cam is now a rotation risk. That will give you some money to upgrade Davies as Taylor is coming back.

1FT, what should I use it on. I want to take out Persie for Suarez as my rival has van Persie and he's 70 odd points ahead. I doubt he would take vP out.

    Bego (Fed)
    Davies* Clyne* Baines (Demel Harte)
    Walcott Michu Bale* Mata* (Noble)
    vanP* Lambert Sturridge*

I have put a * next to the players my rival also has...
