Will he or won’t he? Robin Van Persie may have been declared “available” for United’s home clash with Norwich tomorrow but it’s still far from certain just how many minutes, if any, the Dutchman will be given. With Phil Jones and Paul Scholes the only notable absentees, Sir Alex Ferguson will be expected to shuffle the pack for the visit of the Canaries, with Real Madrid rolling up to Old Trafford on Tuesday evening.

Elsewhere, things are similarly vague at Goodison where David Moyes stated that Marouane Fellaini “has a chance to be fit” for the visit of Reading. Victor Anichebe and Tim Howard are also doubts for the home side, in what looks a potentially profitable afternoon for the Toffees.

Man City could be without skipper Vincent Kompany once again when they pay visit to Villa for Monday night’s encounter. Chelsea have a clean bill of health as Rafa Benitez gets ready to enter the cauldron when Chelsea face off against West Brom, while Jermain Defoe is in the reckoning for a surprise recall after recovering from an ankle injury ahead of schedule – Spurs are without Clint Dempsey for the North London derby, however. As for Arsene Wenger, he takes his troops to the Lane with first choice full-backs Bacary Sagna and Kieran Gibbs both remaining sidelined.

This and the rest of the day’s teamsheet tittle-tattle have been collected for you in our team news section, where you’ll find our current predicted lineups for the weekend matches.

Anfield FM says sturridge is out of game v Wigan

    http://www.anfieldfm.com/news/

The news from Melwood today is not good for Daniel Sturridge and Raheem Sterling as both are out of tomorrow's early evening game away at Wigan Athletic.

Sturridge has suffered a slight reaction to the thigh injury he picked up at Manchester City and will not be risked.

Raheem Sterling is also out of the squad with injury.

No brainer? Here's what the Racing Post reckon...

VERDICT: Liverpool have failed to win in five on the road and their only league victory in four was against Swansea’s reserves. Wigan’s 3-0 success at Reading could be the start of their customary late-season charge away from danger and at a big price they can go in again.

        Bale (C) for me.

I was hoping I could get a few opinions please. I’ve decided to start RvP over Giroud., If he or Fellaini don’t play then Giroud will come off the bench for me. I have a FT, is it worth using it to get in Suarez for RvP or Sturridge for Giroud or just leave it as is? If I did get sturridge I would start him ahead of RvP and have the latter to come of the bench for him if he doesn’t recover from his injury.

I’m leaning towards saving my FT for next week, but any input would be appreciated, thanks.

Seems I can do RvP to Suarez this week, then Fella and Sagna to Sissoko and Wilson next week, followed by Giroud to RvP gw30. Leaves me with my desired midfield and forward lineup. Worried RvP will bite back tomorrow and I kind of think he'll start so I dunno what to do.

I had a weird dream last night, I kept waking up, but each time I fell asleep again the dream returned and was consistent in its message.

For some reason, we were able to change our captains after the deadline, but only a short time. Since I live on the west coast of NA, that’s when all my rivals are sleeping.

Everton v Reading kicked off early & Fellaini got a first half hat-trick. So somewhat disbelieving I managed to change my captain to him.

When I woke up the next day, my two rivals had captains with 5pts (interesting) & 2pts. I had 30pts (pre-bonus, maybe he played < 60, got booked or missed a pen….)

    So captain Fellaini this week.

Puncheon or La Fondre to start?

    Daives or Clyne to start?

I have sturridge and Evra so might not have to make the decision but i'd like to be prepared.

thinking of selling fellaini due to blank gw29, he might drop and he he might not play. who is the best two week punt as replacement? i'm thinking gerrard/sissoko but not convinced by either. gerrard doesn't take that many shots and think sissoko will calm down soon IMO. althought i thought that with michu too so am probably wrong

Sissoko might calm down - but he isn't showing the stats o say it's going to happen yet. Get on board!

Think Swansea could grab a cleanie vs Newcastle? Bookies are giving around a 50% chance.

Don't think so. Newcastle are on the up, and Swansea may still be napping after their cup heroics.

    For this week:
    Jussi (Bunn)
    Baines / Clyne / Wilson
    Mata / Bale / Walcott / Michu / Sissoko
    Suarez (c) / Lambert

Bench: Benteke / Monreal / Davies

Which leaves me switching out one attacker to field 11 next week. And if he doesn't improve, it's looking like being Mata...

would i be crazy to bench RVP this week? surely he wont start and some most likely get a 1 pointer? my teams quite strong without him

    Boruc
    Cameron, Shawcross, Jevans, Johnson
    Pienar, Sissoko, Mata (c), Walcott
    Sturridge Aguero

    Cesar, RVP, Harte, Guthrie....

0 transfer done with 0.6 in the bank! any suggestions anyone?

i'd only play one of the stoke defenders as they are missing huth so will be shaky at the back.
