Wake up and smell the coffee. The ScoutCast returns to jolt us back into life and get us prepped for another Gameweek. After another dullard international break, we come back to life over 100 minutes, delivering the usual mix of chatter, banter, debate and community spirit.

Resigned to mini-league defeat, Granville enjoys pointing out how I’m oh so wrong on the price rise tax, James McClean pre-season and Maynor Figueroa’s Gameweek potential. Jonty crashes in having leaped above me in the contributors league for a quick Rooney-themed gloat, followed by another “Full Jonty”, which this week puts focus on a “no hits please, I’m cautious” Fantasy manager from the Scout community. All the regulars squeeze in amongst that lot to deliver a lengthy wake-up call.

Splash your face with the cold water of a Gameweek countdown via this link or down the pro-plus hit via the handy player below.

Mark Mark created the beast. He's now looking to tame it.

Which City players (if any) are people going with after GW33 taking into account their good run of fixtures and a DGW?

I'm thinking Nasty & Tevez (can't afford Zab).

That's one big conundrum, isn't it - you can never quite say who's nailed on for City apart from Hart, Zaba, Yaya and Aguero. I think it might be a safer strategy to go with one of these 4 early on and then double/triple up closer to GW36.

They have had a few draws and defeats recently, and I think this is where they will draw big hauls for the coming games in a bid to put themselves back into the title race. If you look at the past records of this exact fixture, it has always been goals galore.

Guys, what are people opinions on when is the optimum time to use my wildcard?

next week and slowly get rid of all my doubling/trebling up week by week to spread the bet, or use the team I have now to get a few more DGW players in and either use my WC to get them out or save it until a another potential DGW? About 50 points behind my rival and our teams are VERY similar.

    Bunn Ming
    Wilson Evans Enrique Hill Davies
    Walcott Gerrard Michu Bale Sissoko
    RVP Sturridge Bentekke.

Have you considered it using this week?

Fulham, Everton, Arsenal all have decent fixtures and your FTs will leave you to bring in United/Chelsea.

If not, I'd WC in gw33 considering you have a shortage of DGW players.

I like the idea of using it next week, set yourself up for whatever the 33 doubles turn out to be, and carrying over a FT so you have two at the end of 33 to start shaping for 36.

No I don't think so - someone correct me if I am wrong - but the wc will wipe out your transfers.

So if you're using it next you can use them for one week without fear.

Apart from United/Chelsea, where's the uncertainty though? Also, I'd pretty much go ahead and say Lamps and Mata are 90% likely to start.

With one of Walc/Fellaini on the bench, I think WC this week is a pretty good option for him, especially since he doesn't have these DGW players.

It's a classic form vs fixtures dilemma and either/both could go right.

Now that Walcott and Wilshere are out as well, you'd think Santi as important to Arsenal as Bale is to Spurs. On one hand, you have Swans who don't quite have the motivation to take the game to Spurs and might just sit back and defend, which they're pretty good at. On the other hand, you'd think Reading will go all out to win the game and there's a possibility that they concede a few in return.

This just tilts the balance to Santi. Just my two cents.

I think the opposite. Rdg will be defensive under the new manager and a lot of times Ars have played 0:0 at home, when no one expects. On the other hand Swans don't care anymore and will just try to play the game and out play Spurs no ?

ENR thinking different. Hmmm... I must reconsider this

Yeah I know that seems the popular opinion that they might sit back. Don't see them doing that. You can't quite sit back vs Arsenal. Even the better sides struggle to do that. More so, because defending is not their strength. Adkins would be aware of that and he'll aim to bring the attacking prowess that he brought for the Saints. Also, a draw is not going to be enough for them in the relegation battle. If anything, Adkins should be looking at the highlights of the Ars-Wig game at the end of last season. Martinez did a cracking job of this!

If the you round the recent stats down you get

          Swansea 0 Spurs 2

          Villa 0 Liverpool 2

          Arsenal 2 Reading 0

But Benteke looked good against Liverpool last time out, Swansea could be less defensive minded as you point out and Reading could go all out attack as in the last 3 times these sides met and it could be a goalfest.

This is misconceived in so many ways.

Reading are most weak on their right.

Given the injuries you'd expect Podolski or Gervinho to start on Arsenal's right with Ox on the left.

So how can Ox be a good (c) punt?

Yes because Theo was on the right. Who in god's name do you expect to play on the right?

Remember Wenger likes his teams to play one touch possession football which necessitates playing with a lot of width.

Play Clyne (CHE) or Davies (TOTT) or take a -4 hit?

I think Samba may get a goal against Fulham. (but not a clean sheet)

Townsend is the only good pick of those three.

Expect 2 points from Sissoko against Man City.

But my hands are tied really as if they have a DGW it would be too risky to chance selling.

Walcott likely to miss the West Brom game as well?

Ideally, I'd have liked to keep him but it's looking like a boring Walcott > Caz move is perhaps the best move, and keep Michu for 2 more GWs.

    Not ideal at all.

    Dawson – J.Enrique – Dawson (Davies, Mariappa)

Mata – Bale – WALCOTT – Michu (Maloney)

    RVP – Suarez – Lambert

I need to take a hit to get Caz so should I do>>>>>>

      Is a little sideways

Last time I read the Arsenal website Wenger seemed to be suggesting Walcott will miss just one game.

    Front 8:
    Walcott. Fellaini. Bale. Sissoko. Continuo.
    Suarez. Benteke. Remy.

Predicament: both theo and fell out. Would love both for DGW. Losing wither is an 8 point hit if I were to get either.

    Options:
    1. Walcott>> Santi (making 4 midfielders)
    2. Fellaini >> Santi
    3. Sissoko>> Santi and bunn>> fabianski
