With the ScoutCast survey results still resonating, we make minor tweaks to the trusted formula and still manage to clock up our longest episode yet. To be honest, with a double Gameweek looming and “Balegate” to pick through, this one could have run and run, particularly once I’d got “Significant Touch” by Phil Collins trapped in my head.

There’s plenty of discussion, another cameo from the Professor and his suffering Fantasy fortunes, the weekend preview and another Full Jonty which, this week, focuses on one Fantasy managers mysterious message from the “other side”. An event that inspires Jonty to go on the hunt for superstitious Fantasy managers.

Walk under our ladder and download this week’s episode via this link or clutch your rabbit’s foot and stream the nonsense from the player below.

Mark Mark created the beast. He's now looking to tame it.

Folks will Aguero get much gametime over the DGW? Back from injury on the eve of gameweek 35 he will surely be in the starting 11 for Wembley. I have RVP and Tevez - am I wise bringing in Aguero?

It's a coin toss. He could start both and score in both. He could also play 90 minutes combined for the DWG.

He definitely has the potential to score big though.

Cheers Woka - its a real puzzler. Mancini has stung me more times than enough with his rotation of players. Im loathe to let RVP go as I think Man U will really put it up to Chelsea at OT, but then again Aguero may need the game time. Will City even be focussed on the WBA game 4 days before Wembley? Decisions decisions.

Exactly. If Man City beat Swans then I can definitely see them sending out a very weak lineup to play WBA.

I would think at worst he might do a bit better than 90 mins combined. Mancini won't want him rusty, and he has struggled this season. Equally starting both games looks hopeful.

I bought him this week, but he was sort of the best of a bad bunch of big money forwards.

I'd put Teves ahead of Aguero in the rest and rotations stakes in preparation for the final, he's played a lot of football of late...and I can't see Mancini resting both

I'd like to add my thoughts about the assist rule other games such as totel and espn have a harsher rule which might be more in line with what the player has done but reduces the fun. At least in the FPL I know 99% of the time if it is an assist to my player because it isn't subjective.

In my opinion, it's always a good idea to allow the points to flow.

      The more points the better.

I actually like this assist rule because, although stupid assists are awards, there aren't subjective decisions being made as to whether there was a 'significant deflection' or whatever it was last year.

I also think, whilst some people argue that some assists aren't assists (as in strict assists like in OPTA) there isn't really anything wrong with FPL stretching the rules slightly for the fun of the game. It's the FPL's own rules so I'm cool with that. Everyone understands the rule for the assists so no-one is confused.

You could argue endlessly that some of the assists are a bit far-fetched but the fact is it's nothing to do with strict OPTA assists. It's just there for the fun of the game and what's most fun about FPL is points. Do Bonus points exist in real life? No. But you never hear anyone arguing about them being awarded in the first place...!

Although this is contradicting my comment above regarding subjectivity, I do think bonus points should go back to the 'man in the stand'. I remember Miner picked up 3 bonus earlier this season for scoring some unimportant junk time goal after hopping off the bench. Also of course that Reading keeper who got 1 bonus point for having the game of his life against Liverpool.

I think it's fair because it seems a bit harsh for teams who made it to the CL to only get to play those groupstage matches and then they're completely out of europe if they get a hard group. So all that work and basically 6 matches. Whereas these guys in the Europa league get to have these really long runs in europe for achieving less arguably the season before.

It's a bit harsh for the teams who don't make it to the Champions league in the first place. Should we stop those teams being able to compete in the Europa league to allow Chamions league failures a second chance?

Doesn't seem very fair on the other Europa teams, if it's always going to be Champions League evictees winning it. But it will help them sell tickets for the compo if big name clubs are involved, so it probably won't be changing.

Agree, but I also see some logic to it: it creates a kind of continuity, in that winning is not just winning a second-rate competition. In other words, there is no suggestion that winners of the Europa are inferior to every team that made the CL: if they win, they have beaten some of those teams as well.

None of them with hart - hart should be good for both games unlike man city defenders, and can be played every game for rest of season. 2 potential clean sheets - good odds - man united unlikely for cleanie. Holding other positions constant - I would say hart has potential to out score other keepers in final weeks by 13-14 points.

I'm doing that move, Mancini seems to love him at the minute, and four very tasty fixtures. Fellaini playing to deep for my liking, although i know he almost scored last weekend.

Gotze out, Lewandowski probably along with Hummels and perhaps Gundogan. Still they will be a good team especially if they sign the likes of Dzeko and Christian Eriksen.

Reckon this year will be their best chance for a few years. Madrid and Barca will look to significantly rebuild over Summer while Bayern get Pep and Gotze. Have a hunch Dortmund will win it this season and Bayern next season.

Got exact money for Fellaini to Nasri, but would rather do it tomorrow in case of any surprise news from the press conferences.

This is my GW36 team. No Chelsea cover. Used my 1 FT doing Berba > Lukaku. 1m in the bank. No real room in the mid for Mata / Hazard? - 73 point lead top of my ML so not worried about a hit now. Was thinking Felliani to Fat Frank, would mean dropping one of Michu, Maloney or RVP though.....any advice?

Luiz is the first player crossed off my list for next season.

Admittedly has flashes of genius but as a defender for FF points he's showing signs of serious frailties

It happens sometimes. A rebound goal, and a rebound assist. It's his only way of scoring. Can't get a legitimate goal these days.

      Gents.

Have a FT, and thinking about taking a punt on Lampard (also have Mata in team). But, he played the full 90 tonight.

Does anyone think he'll start the two DGW games?
